KURT ANGLE VS. SETH ROLLINS

Seth Rollins was backstage alone talking to nobody but himself in his mind.
He was putting on his gloves that were attached to his tights, and tightening them
to face his opponent. Rollins was watching the nearby monitor which was showing
the show. Rollins didn't want to look, but he had to. He had to look at the intensity
within his opponent's, and see if he is actually ready for Rollins. Rollins trained more
than ever from the time being, and he wasn't even touched most of the time
during the shows. Rollins had tried to avoid a lot of situations where he could've
injured himself. Rollins was eventually seeing his opponent coming into the ring, as someone
backstage had came up to Rollins and was about to ask him to go up. Rollins
already knew, telling the guy to go away, because he had to be focused coming out.
Rollins grabbed water bottles and then started to open them, and then pour it all
over himself before going out there. He walked towards the door to the entrance
tunnel with his opponent's theme still playing and blasting. Rollins was walking
down the tunnel then eventually reaching the end of it. He closed his eyes, with
the silence in the arena had been in motion while his opponent was still in the ring.
Suddenly..the PA System eventually
played Rollins' entrance video and his entrance music.
Rollins opened back up his eyes and then was ready. He stayed there for the moment
as wild drums and guitars were playing throughout the whole arena, as there was then
a silence. It continued, with Rollins then walking through the curtain. He looked to
the crowd while it was a huge mixed reaction towards Rollins. Some people were
watching from home, and some people were voting for Rollins as well.
Seth saw the many people in the crowd within the
bleachers, wearing t-shirts, holding up signs, everything.
He started to walk down the ramp with a confident look on his face. The announcer
was in the ring watching Rollins coming down the ring. "From Davenport, Iowa,
weighing in at 217 pounds...SETH...ROOOOOLLLLINS!" Rollins was staring down
at his opponent every step of the way. People in the side were trying to reach out
for him, but Rollins of course didn't pay ANY attention to them at all. He continued
on walking down the ramp, as eventually Seth reached the end of it. Rollins stopped
and then took a moment before getting close to the ring at all. He stared down at
his opponent who was in the ring and made a left turn, still staring down at him.
Rollins with step after step walked up on the steel stairs eventually grabbed the
top rope and sliding his hand against it. Rollins walked to the middle of the apron,
and again was STILL looking at his opponent, as both men were both confident.
Seth finally put his attention away from his opponent and then walked over to the
top rope and then climbed it. He raised his arms in the air as the crowd had a
mixed reaction. He rested his arms and then jumped into the ring waiting.

 

[Kurt AngIe]

In the backstage area, Kurt Angle would be preparing for his match, getting warmed up and pumped up, getting ready to go do what he was better than anyone else at, wrestling. He walks down the hallway into the area that is before the curtains that separate him from the packed arena. Kurt stretches and keeps his body active from stiffening up, waiting for the cue for him to head out there. He paces around, ignoring the presence of anyone around him, focused on the task at hand. Eventually, he is given the thumbs up, and as soon as his entrance music hits, which starts out slow with the lights black, Kurt goes to his spot where no other wrestler goes, all a part of the way his entrance is, ready to make his way out.



The audience popped with cheers for the Olympic Gold Medalist when the beginning of the theme music of the one and only Kurt Angle began to play, and the lights went black with the only thing you can see is the video on the titantron. After a few seconds, some lights come on, focused on the top of the ramp where Kurt Angle rises from under it slowly, standing still, and the audience cheers louder once they see him. After being completely even with the ramp pavement, Kurt raises his hands and a big pyro shoots off, and some more lights come on. You can see him wearing his signature wrestling gear, of blue and red coloring, as the veteran wrestling machine begins to make his way down the ramp, and is introduced.







"And his opponent, making his return to the ring.... From Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 235 pounds, Professional Wrestling's ONLY Olympic Gold Medalist.... KURT AAANGLEEE!!!"



Kurt makes his way down the ramp, not slapping any of the fans' hands, but he does acknowledge their cheering for him and smiles at them once, and makes it down to the ring, making a left turn and makes it to the steps. He walks up the steps and down the apron, entering the ring through the second rope. He walks to the center of the ring, raising his arms again, spinning in a circle one time. Kurt then walks back and forth, keeping himself warmed up and thinking to himself and reminding himself of his plan of execution, and reminding himself that he is the best in the world and whatever his plan is will get the job done. After several moments, the lights turn to their normal lighting of the arena, and his theme dims down to a stop, and Kurt Angle paces around, waiting for his opponent to come out or for the bell to ring.

 

[Messiah Seth Rollins]

The bell would ring, as Seth Rollins would start circling the ring looking at Angle.

 

[Kurt AngIe]

Kurt Angle looks into the audience chanting his name, happy to see him back. He looks over at Seth Rollins, with a cold hard look, a look of intimidation, before beginning to pace and circle around the ring, ready to begin with the man.  

[Messiah Seth Rollins]

Rollins started to circle the ring as well as Rollins started to raise his arms waiting for the first actions of Angle.

 

[Kurt AngIe]

Kurt Angle closes in on Seth Rollins, and appears to offer a collar and elbow tie up.

Rollins saw the offer by Angle, as Rollins accepted it, but then quickly tried to turn it into a headlock to wear Angle down.

 

[Kurt AngIe]

Kurt angle stands there in a headlock, and using ring awareness and experience of knowing not to let himself get worn out this early, he backs himself and Seth up to the ropes and launches him off to the opposite ones.  

[Messiah Seth Rollins]

Rollins feeling the force by Angle, he was eventually pushed off the ropes, but he quickly came back to Angle attempting to go for a quick shoulder tackle.

 

[Kurt AngIe]

Kurt goes down from the shoulder being jabbed into him,.  

[Messiah Seth Rollins]

Rollins would see Angle fall down as he would then jump over Angle's body and then run to the ropes once again, hoping Angle would've gotten up by the time he came back.

Kurt Angle got up fairly quick when Rollins ran to those ropes, so after Seth hits the ropes, he gets met with a back-elbow from Kurt this time!

Rollins was hit with the back-elbow as he fell to the mat this time.
