It's a bit strange to me, too. I think it's the wide, innocent eyes. I've not had eyes like that on my avatar for... Uhm... Since I turned my avatar vampire in that Halloween event however long ago. >>; They're freaking me out a bit because my avatar is just staaaaaring at me. But I only had to buy three items for it, and those all came from gold shops, so that makes me happy. I hoard gold like I try to hoard real money, haha.

For me it seems like they're okay though as far as staring because they're slanted a bit...and they look a cross between innocent/evil eyes....could go either way...
I don't spend my gold either. I'm content with this avatar for now. Plus, I don't have the imagination to reinvent it.

I'm insanely happy with my avatar's legs. >>; The legs and feet usually look funny because the vampire base's frame is much thinner than the regular avatar bases. But I covered it up well enough this time so there isn't even any lime green outline glitching. xD I like your avi how it is, anyway, Danny. c: Then again, that could be my artist side speaking because it drew you. >>;

I'm beginning to really like how Nogitsune looks on you, coupled with your rainbow socks and everything meshed in. It's the right kind of contrast, I think.
I'm a bit confused with the avatar/vampire base thing, though. Are we talking about real vampire dimensions, or something from Gaia?
I'm glad you like it, Brandy ;D

I'm glad it's growing on you, haha. The base is a Gaia thing. If I stripped my avi down, you'd be able to see it. The ankles and legs are really thin and the feet are small. The arms are thinner, too. It's weird, and it creates a lot of strange item glitches for me with shoes and stockings and such.

That's...odd. I would've thought if anything the fact that it's smaller would be advantageous.

It would be except for the fact that all items are made for regular avatars. Shoes stick out too far in the back on my avatar unless I put stockings on her. Sandal-ish shoes meant to show the feet have a few pixels of the background between the foot and shoe on the vampire base because the bottom of the foot sits a few pixels higher on the vampire base. In stockings, especially if they're semi-transparent like the white, green, blue, etc., show a strange bright green glitch sometimes between where a regular base's leg would sit and where the vampire base's leg outline is. Bracelets usually sit too low on the arm/are too wide on the arm of the vampire base. I also get weird glitches with items meant to cover the eyes when I'm editing because, technically speaking, the vampire base doesn't have eyes since the vampire eyes and mouth are built in to the base as one thing, as opposed to the regular bases whose mouths and eyes are separate from the base. Yeah, it's frustrating, but I love this base. >>;

Ah, I've been using this base since it first came out however many years ago. Which is why I can give a thorough listing of the glitches. But, since I know all the glitches, I also know how to avoid them, so it all works out for me. And, yes I did, Lori. ^^; I was working with tektek for over an hour to try to get a good look. >>;

In other news, Gaia is absolutely CRAZY if they think I will EVER pay nearly fifteen dollars for a VIRTUAL item. *just visited cash shop and is extremely upset*

And Lori, just to let you know, I edited a little bit of the code in your contestants post in your contest thread. Didn't want you to see the rearranged tag closings and wonder. ^^; I try to be open about what I edit, I hope you don't mind. >>;
