Rahvine glanced at the others for a moment then laid the dagger on her lap and dug around in her bag pulling out one of her letters. I guess I might as well read then.... thought Rahvine as she opened the letter and began reading.

Mia pulled out the book Rahvine had bought her and read it again.Aura turned inti a wolf and curled up to sleep.

Rahvine snorted softly as she read the letter. Well, it looks like Mother lost her chance to buy herself more status that way. ...I guess that's one advantage of being here,...it's pretty hard for Mother to convince her choice of a husband to wait when her black sheep of a daughter has vanished... Rahvine sighed as she moved on to the second page. ...I'm sure she'll manage to find someone else just as good or better...
