I wouldn't necessarily be so quick to judge...in my personal experience I think vampires DO exist, but not in the more classic sense as becoming a pure supernatural being...but rather gaining special traits for both good and bad through demonic possession.
My ex best friend was a vampire...and from everything that I gathered it made the most sense. When she was a vampire she had this bad personality...which ONLY existed AFTER she got her vampire stuff...and disappeared AFTER her vampire stuff was removed by her Master/Sire.

I'm not deluded at all! "There are more things on Heaven and Earth then are dreamed of in your philosophy."
I mean for instance....is it really THAT much crazier then studies showing that when you yell and curse at water and freeze it...that the ice crystal become deformed and ugly? Or that carbon is the strongest substance known to made...despite made of mostly empty space. Carbon is far superior to titanium even, and weights less only a small fraction of it. Or how about a guy who has no hands but can drive cars, boats, shoot a rifle with over 50% accuracy? Or how about the 100% blind kid who can use Sonar via making clicking noises to be able to Rollerblade away from moving targets? There are many fantastic things in life...just because you've never seen them, does not mean that they do not exist...

Monom well I'm more of a creature than a night owl, and I don't suffer from insomnia A night owl is a label given to those who enjoy staying up late. HOWEVER...when you say "creature of the night" you're either talking about an animal...or a supernatural monster...traditionally a vampire.
