The story seemed okay and the idea of the game, namely killing zombies using anything as a weapon, was appealing. Unfortunately, it got shot down due to the poor time system. With the tight schedule, I often found myself running away from the undead rather than facing them so I wouldn't be late to a mission and fail the game.
The boss battles you couldn't do effectively without guns, not to mention that guns are hard to come by unless you gain access to the gun store, but with the difficulty dealing with the insane dude there, it's not even worth the trouble.
Don't even get me started on the survivor AI. Ugh.
One of the bigger gripes are the convicts. They speed around the courtyard or whatever, blasting their terrible rap music and shooting at you for no good reason. These assholes are really hard to defeat without guns and they're a major pain in the a**. Worse...they respawn. Not a good move, Capcom.
The only thing that was "rising" while playing that game was my blood pressure. It's one of the few games I so frustrated with that I tossed it against a wall, sold it without beating it once and didn't regret it in the slightest ******** that game.
EDIT: Oh, and Oto is ******** annoying.
