Ah-hah. Scyther as a physical sweeper with Swords Dance will be a good alternative if I axe Gyarados...as long as he has the Technician ability and moves like Aerial Ace.

I have an EV Attack/Speed Trained Scyther with Swords Dance, X-Scissor, Brick Break and I think Night/Dark/Something Slash. I hardly ever use Swords Dance, for the fact that it has crappy defense stats and if it doesn't hit first, it can be next to OHKO'd.

Ota, your Sunflora sounds exactly like my Roserade, except Toxic is replaced with Grasswhistle to make the whole process smoother.
