Okay, so Gamestop won't take The Orange Box back because it's PC...god, I hate that rule. I mean, what if it doesn't work on my computer? Live with my wasted money? ******** THAT. By the way, I know it actually will work on my computer, but that's one of the issues I usually bring up on the topic of PC game return policy.
Anyway, my only option now is to either wait for Steam Support to get off their lazy asses to fix the duplicate CD-key problem OR I could contact Valve and have them give me a new key if they can.

You should raise more hell. They sold you a game with an already used key, so it could be their fault. Gamestop sells games as "new" when they've been played, and this could be a case of that.
