Kai smiled.
"My name is Kai, im just a friend of hers, no worries."
He took the bags away from Hotaru and then paid the boy before smiling and walking away.

The boy frowned at her. "Are you ok? Should I call someone about that man?" He asked her in hushed tones. Hotaru shrugged. "I know him better than you." She answered as she pushed the door closed in the boys face. She went to the kitchen and got down the only two plates and sets of silverware in her home.

Hotaru frowned as she sat down. "Was it?" She asked him sincerely. "I was just telling the truth." Her statement made it all the more obvious how little interaction she had with other people.

Kai laughed and shook his head as he got two plates and then set them on the table with the food.
"Next time, dont be so blunt, just tell him a small white lie."

Hotaru opened the containers of food and started setting them between them. "Like what?" She asked him, not quite sure what you would say to someone in that situation that could be considered a white lie.

He laughed as he shook his head again.
"Just tell him your fine, and you dont need any help."

Hotaru frowned. "Would that have made him leave me alone?" She asked him. Somehow she doubted that would have made the boy leave.

Hotaru sighed as she nodded. "Do you even realize how often you give an order?" She asked him, wondering if he realized ever other sentence out of his mouth could be considered an order.

Hotaru shrugged as she took a bit. "You're the Master right? That's up to you then." She reminded him.
