Could Be Worse [Awesome x Mayah]

Michaela graciously took the water, drinking only a little. Immediately grinning as she caught sight of a city, she nearly took off running. "Look, New Trevit! I can get out of these clothes!"

"Just keep walking." he said. "I don't want to have to chase you until you pass out!"

"I am walking," she protested. "Faster than you, at least."

"Then slow down." he retorted.  

[Mayah Playah]

"Or you could speed up," she laughed.  

[Its Smiley]

"My lungs can't handle that." he said, obviously lying, but obviously too lazy.

As they got closer and closer, the girl became more and more excited. Finally, after seeing a hotel labelled 'The Bloodwell', she could take it no longer. Taking his hand, Michaela ran for it, reaching the hotel in no time. She raced inside, panting. The manager rushed over, fussing over her. "Megan, please, just prepare a room for me and my...companion."

Alcott groaned when she forced him to run, but that quickly went away at the sight of the large hotel. He'd seen it a good few times, and there was even a suite given to him as a thirtieth birthday present, but it still took his breath away everytime he gazed up at it. He felt his cigarette fall from his angled mouth and turned to see it hit the concrete, only to be smashed by the manager. Alcott watched the manager and Michaela bicker as he pulled his hand from her grasp.

Nodding at the manager, Michaela smiled at Alcott, then started for an elevator. "She said that our room should be on the top floor. You can have the main bed, I'll take the smaller one."

"Two beds?" Alcott said with a sarcastic look of disbelief displayed on his face. "Hallelujah."

She rolled her eyes. "Just come on," Michaela demanded. "Before it goes without us."

He sighed and put his hands in his pockets, following her to the elevator with a less than enthusiastic look on his handsome face.

"Calm down, Tiger. No need to get so excited," she said dryly.

"Yes there is, I've got a bed tonight." Alcott answered casually, leaning against the end of the elevator. "Listen to me, I sound like something from The Blind Side." he grunted and snickered a little at his joke.

"And now you're getting the smaller bed," she retorted as the elevator doors finally closed. "Seriously, Alcott, why are you so boorish?"
