"What? That tall, scary guy you hang out with?" Julian asked and glanced over at him. "I had a feeling. He seemed like the type to go in both directions." he shrugged.

"Did you really?" Fredrich chuckled as he stared Ellery down. Before the fashionista could reply, he leaned in and kissed him.

Daniel rolled his eyes, crossing his arms and leaning on the sink. "Tall and scary? Please. I'm taller and more frightening than him and you spent thirty minutes calling me adorable last night!" He turned and looked into the mirror, fixing his damp blonde hair. "Gah, I look like sh-t."

A small, respressed moan was heard from the back of Ellery's throat, eagerly kissing back and raising one leg to the man's hip, already expectant of the pleasure he was to receive.

"Yeah, but I've known you since you were a wittle cuddly-wuddly baby~" Julian teased and turned off the shower. He got out and stood beside Daniel, looking at their reflections. "Well you didn't get much sleep last night, and it was freakin' freezing outside too. You want an energy drink?"

"Naw, I'll drink something when I get home," he said, turning and kissing the other teen's cheek. "I've got to get going. See you tonight?"

"You're blackmailing me, aren't you?" Julian responded with an earnest shrug. "I'd rather die from your dad shooting me than humiliation."

"Speaking of, my mom said that if you don't behave, he'll kill you himself," Daniel informed the smaller teen, walking out of the bathroom and grabbing his effects. "Do you know if your parents are coming? I know they got the invitation."

"They're going to try, but I don't know if they can make it. It's all up to their schedule." he explained while rubbing his neck with the towel. "So do I meet you there or head to your house?"

He grabbed the doorknob, turning it. "Just meet me there. Bring the invitation and I'll come to the front, okay?" He gave a little wave then walked out. "Love you, see you later!"

"'Kay, just text me the directions later. See ya!" Julian called out.

"Hmph. I'm glad you decided to come home today instead of next week." Fredrich growled when Daniel came home. By then he was already dried off and in his usual suit, only that dangerous, dark aura still outlined his body.

Daniel cleared his throat, rubbing the back of his neck. "Sorry, Dad," he mumbled, walking closer to his parents.
"Well, as long as you're home now," said Ellery from beside his husband, one hand holding on to his husband's arm. "Go get dressed, sweetie. Your father and I will yell at you after."
He nodded, walking out with guilt hanging over him. "Still sorry, Dad..."
Ellery took a deep breath before walking to the table and picking up his watch. "Don't cuss at him, darling."

Fredrich said nothing until Ellery spoke to him. "I'll try, but I can't promise anything." he muttered with a sigh.

He walked back, handing the watch to Fredrich and holding out his arm. "Help me put it on, dear," he asked, big green eyes sparkling up at Fredrich as he again processed how handsome the Austrian was. It always astounded him that he was married to such perfect beauty, that he had managed to talk the strong detective into such a commitment.

Those piercing dark blue eyes flickered to Ellery when he heard him speak, then at the watch. The detective remained passive for a moment then sighed and turned to face him. He took the watch into his gloved hands and helped slide it onto Ellery's wrist. "If I had known you would need help putting this on all the time I would have never bought it for you." he said despite his smile.

"But if you hadn't gotten it for me, I wouldn't be able to do this~" he purred, taking the detective's hand and tugging him closer to plant a kiss on his mouth. "Be sure to watch me at the celebration, darling. I might misbehave." whispered the man, smirking up at his husband.

"Misbehaving at your own dinner. Honestly." Fredrich sighed with a chuckle. After a few minutes he looked at his own watch then down the hallway. "Daniel! Are you ready yet?" he called out.
