Stop, she begged. She begged the world to stop. It was always cruel to her. As a young girl, she had been abused from the time of birth to the time of now. Her father had died when she was only a child in a great war. Her mother had become more twisted the more she grew; she did not know what had changed her so, only that her decline was intensifying. She had begun to hate herself, her life, her brother. She felt so alone and isolated, the people at school abused her, teasing and hitting her. The boys called her mean and the girls called her ugly and weird. She curled into a ball and lived in the corner of societal imagination. She was alone, and she always felt alone.
One day, however, a boy her age approached her in the academy; a new student that had been transferred from another institution. His first words to her, after witnessing the sadness in her eyes, would be: Let's enjoy life for as long as it lasts. Those words, beyond all others, struck her. They meant something to her, beyond the initial meaning. They shook the cords in her heart and allowed her to see clearly; that hatred, that inferiority, that all of these emotions she held inside of her were unnecessary. She was going to die alone and sad. She needed to change, to see change. She needed to shake it up, and so she did; she joined this boy, she did whatever she could never do when all she could imagine was hating herself. "Do you not believe in the future of our nation, Ashoka?!" Kyon screamed; he was loud, he was angry. This was at the moment before the penultimate of his life, where he would inevitably decide to leave Konoha so as to not be absorbed by the evil that had festered within. His friend, and some would say his lover, was reluctant to leave. He did not really care for politics or much of anything beyond the physical, the spiritual, the self and the ones connected directly to him. He did not imagine a difference whether Shinsei led, or Kana before him. He didn't want to leave home, a place so dear to him. Yet, he didn't want Kyon to leave him behind; it was one of those moments where you had to make the ultimate choice, and let that choice haunt you forever, for better or worse.
He chose to stay, and as a result, Kyon was heartbroken. You could say that Kyon was one half himself, a quarter his sister, and a quarter Ashoka. They had all known each other since they were very young, and always had he been in love with that man. Leaving him was painful. It was the worst pain he'd ever experienced in his entire life, and yet he knew it could not be worse than watching his nation devolve into chaos and anarchy. He dreamt of a moment where he could return, to see that man, the smile on his face.
In the cabin of the ship that would take him to his new world, Kumogakure, he had a vision of the future. It was a world where love prospered and not war, where good could overcome evil. He saw the end of that man -- Shinsei -- and the future that came with the devolution of such an end. This allowed him that goal, that dream, that united his sister and him by a common purpose.

ＧＹＵＫＩ ｛ｔｈｅ ｈａｃｈｉｂｉ｝ In some myths, the Ushi-Oni is sea creature commonly seen with an ox head and the body of another multi-limbed creature. The Hachibi appears based on this creature. The Cephalopod (class including squid and octopi) is an animal seen throughout the oceans and stories of giant sea creatures have been seen in Japan and throughout many cultures. In other non-Japanese myths, the Kraken is a giant squid capable of terrorizing large ships. The mysterious giant squid itself was finally seen in its natural habitat only recently by researchers.
ＤＥＳＣＲＩＰＴＩＯＮ The Hachibi is large and powerful. It is an overconfident ox, which will lend it's power to its jinchuuriki only if he finds it worthy of its time. Taking the form of an Ox Cephalopod, Gyuki is known for having a rather dark purplish aura that surrounds him. Most believe it is due to the darkness he infuses with his and his hosts jutsus. He is around the size of Kyuubi.
ＳＴＡＧＥＳ
Stage 0 - This is a stage of the Hachibi's power that few know about. The host's skin darkens slightly, and dark circles form around their eyes. When accessing the 0 stage, the host also gains the ability to use their hands, arms, legs, and feel like suction cups at will, latching on to people and weapons alike. The host is also enveloped with a pale, sickly purple chakra, and their speed stat is increased by +1.
Stage 1 - Upon first activating Gyuki's power, the host will be overcome with a dark chakra cloak. It is a sickly, pale purple in hue--similar to the chakra cloak that the Kyuubi host experiences at one tail. Two horns will form atop the host's head, and the tails of the demon will begin to take shape. At this point, if the host doesn't know how to control the power of their demon, they will go on a rampage. The only remaining trace of sanity is that they can still tell friend from foe. When this stage is active, the host gets a +2 boost to strength. When this stage is mastered, the host experiences full control.
Stage 2 - After reaching the fifth tail, the Hachibi host enters stage two. They are overcome with a pulsating black and red skin, similar to what the Kyuubi's fourth tail has. Their boost increases; +3 to the strength stat. When in this form, the host's gains the ability to jump incredible distances, as shown in Killerbee's fight against Sasuke. At this rank, the ability to use Homicide Blast is unlocked. Like in the first stage, if the host hasn't mastered the stage, they lose control of themselves. The difference here is that they cannot tell friend from foe. As always, when the stage is mastered, they experience full control.
Stage 3 - Upon the final stage, the host has two options. If the host reaches this stage before they've fully mastered control over their demon, they will die. The Hachibi will take complete form--and complete control--over their body, killing them instantly and going on a rampage.
If this stage is mastered, the host and Gyuuki have come to an understanding. At that point, the host can turn into the Hachibi at will, gaining a staggering +4 to their strength stat. Their fists are strong enough to knock away the reckless charges of the Gobi, and they can also use the fearsome Bijuudama. The Hachibi's stage 3 can withstand one SS-ranked technique before the Hachibi must return into the host's body and recover for seven posts.
↷ ｆｉｇｈｔｉｎｇ ｓｔｙｌｅ Straightforward and one-track-minded, rushes forward until it hits something or runs out of steam over a long period of deceleration. Rams with horns and tosses foes upward, can then wraps foes with suction tails and berates them. Tends to be reckless, but rightfully so; its attacks are made in berserk rampages, and even if hit it continues forward, always moving in a straight line without stopping unless it hits.

Remi took after his Uchiha father with the Way of living such s becoming a samurai, while Dani sided with her mother and becoming a Taijutsu specialist. They lived average lives until one day their parents were attacked at the Kusa gates. The two twins tried to fight back but were overpowered by the Sound shinobi, just when they were about to kill the two the cloud ninjas arrived and saved their lives.
