Alex sipped at his hot chocolate, the warmth of the cup feeling nice against his palm. As Andy asked him how the drink was he smiled a bit "It's good. Hot chocolate is always good." Alex spoke with a small chuckle, moving his robotic arm up to his shoulder as Kipat tugged lightly on his ear. Once Kipat had gotten onto the metal hand, Alex moved it down to the table where Kipat got off and started walking about curiously. "What about your food, good?" he asked before taking a bite out of his muffin. It was definitely getting late, and now that he thought about it he had forgotten to text Mrs.Linda and Mr.Robert. They probably thought he had made a trip to the electronics store or the dump.

XXXXXXAndrew noticed how uncomfortable Mira was getting. 'Probably just not used to so many people.' He reasoned to himself before setting aside his iced treat for a moment "Can I take a look? I didn't get to see too much of your work but it looked really good to me." Andrew said with a shrug, and his ever present charming smile. One might call it a mask, but then again no one has ever gotten close enough to find out if it was or not.

It was pretty spacious so, if any more poeple were to join them, the space was available.

Andy grinned and nodded, taking a great big bite out of her own bagel. The warm peanut butter melted in her mouth with the toasty bread. She gave Alex a thumbs up. "Delicious." She said, putting her stamp of approval on the food. She chuckled as Kipat tugged Alex's ear, wanting off of his shoulder. The little robot then began to wander around the table. "Looking for something, Ki?" She asked, curious. Though the robot could just be exploring. Andy wondered if he would come out with some other funny phrase or comment. She giggled a little out of nowhere, wondering if maybe he was looking for the "date" from earlier, now that there was food around.

Alex let out a small chuckle as Andy approved her food with a thumbs up, then he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. Walking over to one of the napkins on the table, Ki lifted it up gently. Taking out the slide phone, Alex opened up the message that Anabel had sent him and sent out a reply.
To Anabel, Alright, sounds good to me. Where should we meet up?
Then turned his attention back onto Ki and Andy as Andy asked Ki if he was looking for something. Ki looked at Andy, releasing the napkin "Maybe the date is here. Do you think they'll have one? Or two?.... Or five?" Kipat asked making Alex facepalm. "Ki expression" he laughed, Ki had really seemed to become attached to finding the date, at this rate maybe he'd just get him one. Ki's gaze turned onto Alex"But we never found the date. Andy said that it was a date. If we get her a date then she'll be more likely to befriend us right?" Kipat asked, only for Alex to hold a hand over his mouth as he tried not to burst out into laughter. That would explain why Kipat was so obsessed with finding the date. Looking at Andy, Alex smirked "So, when can you start those language lessons?" he laughed.

Andy's giggle turned into full on laughter when Kipat voiced exactly what she was thinking. Alex face-palmed across from her as the robot brought it up for the millionth time. "I think sooner would be better." Then she turned to the robot. "Don't worry, Kipat, I'll still be friends with you, even if you don't find it." She promised, hoping the small robot would pause his exhausting search for the date. It was funny, but she wondered if he might develop robot stress or something over it.
Andy then had a last minute thought, wondering how Kipat would respond. She held out her hand to him, putting up her pinky finger. "Pinky promise." She said, trying not to burst into another fit of giggles as she sipped her coffee with her other hand.

Alex smiled and nodded at Andy's comment, it was nice being out with a friend. He didn't feel stressed or anxious about people looking at him, all that he cared about right now was having a good time with Andy and Kipat. Honestly he couldn't remember the last time he had felt this comfortable out in public. It was also nice to hear Andy say that she would be their friend no matter what... well mostly about not finding the date, but still.
Kipat looked at Andy, then at her pinky, then back at Andy"Yes. That finger is pink." Kipat said then moved a bit around the finger as he examined it "What does a promise have to do with the color of your finger?" Kipat asked curiously giving Andy's finger a light poke.
Alex let out a small chuckle, he hadn't really thought about some of these things for Kipat's base knowledge, it was funny to see how he handled it. Between Andy and Dream, Kipat was going to be learning a lot.

Andy dropped her head on the table in laughter while Kipat poked at her finger. "Another expression, Ki." She said, lifting her head again to look at Alex. "These lessons may be harder than I thought, at this rate." She gave him a hopeless smile, and a small eye roll as though it would be exasperating to try and get through to the robot. "The finger is called a pinky, Kipat, and when you cross fingers like this-" Andy held her finger out to Alex instead, so they could show the robot how it worked. "-You make a promise! And you can't break a pinky promise. Ever." She said with a grin, trying to explain what it meant, and that if she pinky promised that she would be friends with them without the Date, she had to keep that promise.

Alex laughed as Andy placed her head on the table laughing at the tiny robot's confusion. "To late to turn back now, you already offered."Alex laughed teasingly at Andy who then went on to explain what a pinky promise was. When she held out her pinky towards Alex, he extended his own hand towards her, the metal finger meeting Andy's finger. Kipat watched as the two did what Andy had called a pinky promise still a bit confused about why that meant what it did but pushed those thoughts aside as he added it to his database. "What happens if you break it?" Kipat asked curiously"Does your finger fall off!?" Kipat asked making Alex hold in another laugh. He was half tempted to tell the robot that that was exactly what happened, but Kipat had some bugs when it came to sarcasm.

Andy stuck her tongue out at Alex for his comment that she couldn't back out this late in the game, while he helped her show Kipat a pinky promise. Then the little robot made a small exclamation, asking whether your finger would fall off if you broke one. She burst into laughter again, and shook her head, taking another bite of her bagel before responding. "If you break a pinky promise....." Andy began, trying to think of what to tell Kipat. "If you break a pinky promise, you can't ever eat chocolate again." She said, very seriously, giving a decisive nod to make her point, and trying not to giggle. She wondered whether Kipat would have any concept of how horrifying that would be -- At least for humans if not for himself.

Kipat knew about how chocolate was suppose to taste pretty good, Alex liked it as did Mrs. Linda. Raising his tiny arms into the air Kipat let out a small call "Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!"his little robotic voice sounded devastated making Alex let out another chuckle. The tiny robot couldn't eat, no matter how much he tried, yet Ki seemed so upset at the comment about not being able to eat chocolate again. He supposed that it made a bit of sense though when he remembered the brown that Ki had tried to eat back at lunch.
Feeling his phone vibrate again, Alex's attention turned away from Kipat's call of distress and brought out his phone opening up the message. It was from Mrs. Linda.
To Alex and Ki
Hey Alex, just wanted to make sure everything is alright, since you aren't usually out this late. If you need one of us to pick you up let me know. See you later tonight.
Alex couldn't help but to smile a bit, Mrs. Linda was always so kind and wanting to make sure that he was alright.
Yeah we're fine, sorry to worry you. We went out with a friend after school.
Alex sent the reply before placing the phone back into his pocket before finishing off his muffin and looking at Andy. It was getting pretty late, her parents were probably getting concerned too."Do you want a ride back home? It's pretty late and I'm sure Mrs. Linda wouldn't mind dropping you off." Alex offered. He didn't want anything bad to happen to Andy if she walked home in the dark.

Andy burst into laughter as Kipat let out a devastated cry that reminded her of something she had seen in one of the Star Trek movies her dad liked to watch. She wondered whether the robot realized that he couldn't actually eat the chocolate anyways.
Andy looked up again as Alex addressed her, asking if she wanted a ride home. She pulled out her own phone to check the time, and made a face. It was getting much later than she thought, and her parents would definitely start to wonder where she was, since she didn't have a gig tonight at all. She nodded and said, "Yeah, that would probably be a good idea. Normally I would just walk.. but.. it is starting to get dark out..." Andy explained, not wanting to impose, but not really liking the idea of walking home by herself at night.

Alex smiled and sent a quick text to Mrs. Linda asking if she could pick them up at the cafe, as usual she responded quickly to Alex. Turning his attention back to Andy, Alex nodded "Alright, she should be here in a few minutes. We should probably wait outside." Alex said getting up from his seat and holding his robotic hand down to Kipat who climbed up onto it before Alex brought it up to his shoulder, the small click of a magnet sounding quietly by his ear as Kipat attached onto the magnet in the shoulder strap of his backpack. Picking up his and Andy's trash, Alex went over to one of the trash cans and dumped it inside before going back over to Andy. "Ready to go?" he asked with a small smile, he had really enjoyed spending time outside of school with her.
Once Andy was ready, Alex led the way out of the cafe and stopped on the sidewalk of the parking lot. It didn't take long for Alex to spot Mrs. Linda's van pulling up. Giving a small wave to make sure she saw them, Alex walked over to the car as she pulled over. "Hey Andy.... thanks... for hanging out with us."Alex said with an awkward chuckle before opening the door to the van and holding it open for Andy to enter.
"Hey you two, did you have fun? Odd place for you to go." the sweet voice of Mrs. Linda teased from the drivers seat. Before Alex could say anything, Kipat chimed in "Yeah! It was lots of fun!". Mrs Linda let out a little laugh at Kipat's energy then looked at Andy from over the seat."I'm Mrs. Linda. It's a pleasure to meet you." she introduced herself.

Andy nodded and gathered her things, wiping the table with a napkin while Alex threw away the trash. "Onwards!" She announced in agreement that she was ready, making a pointing gesture towards the sky. She followed Alex outside, and soon he waved over a van. It pulled up next to the curb so that they could get in. "Thanks for hanging out with me. It was fun! We should do it again!" She suggested, glad to have somebody to hang out with now, instead of just acquaintances who knew her name and invited her to parties and whatnot.
She slid into the van while Alex held the door open for Andy, and then a sweet sounding lady, asked if they had fun, and introduced herself as Mrs. Linda. Kipat responded to the first, making Andy smile, and then she turned to look back at the woman up front. "My name's Andy! Nice to meet you too! And thank you for giving me a ride!" She said politely.

Once Andy was inside the van, Alex followed in after her snapping his seat belt into place. He was glad that Andy wanted to hang out again, she even seemed excited about it too."It's no problem at all. It's nice to see that Alex made a friend. You even got him to go to a public area, I'm impressed." Mrs. Linda laughed. Alex looked off to the side a bit embarrassed, Mrs. Linda knew his habits well. "And we did a promise of the pinky!" Kipat spoke happily, both Mrs. Linda and Alex laughed a bit.
"So where do you live?" Mrs. Linda asked putting the car back into drive. ((OOC you can jump to drop-off if you want 4laugh ))
