Dethan, City of Perpetual Darkness

[Chi Awase]

Kiara held on tight on his brother, watching the witch if ever she moved towards them, and she could do a defensive move.

Kaede swore again, and this time she walked towards where both demons jumped off to, and then started to shout words that looked like a spell. While she's chanting them, a heavy wind starts to blow behind her, towards Sai and Kiara. Then after a while a big black kind of smoke starts to emerge behind her and something starts to emerge from it.

Sai jumped high fast, but knew it wasnt enought, he took his sister's hands and whispered "im sorry" as he dropped her much away from where the storm was.

Kiara was surprised as she went falling down to the ground. Fortunately she landed and still was in one piece, though got a little hurt. But she didn't mind that. She just stood and looked at the witch right in the eye, and she looked angry. She then looked up, wanting to see where her brother landed.

Kaede tingled a bit when Kiara looked at her in the eye, but it made not much difference. She knew she would be angry anyway. Instead, Kaede just continued on with her spell, and the thing that emerged from the black smoke was a big bat with red eyes. It looked vicious, and started to fly towards Sai. Kaede snickered loudly, looking to where Sai is, as if leading the bat towards him.

Sai lended infront that black smoke and rushed into it.

((sorry that I couldn't post a while ago, the site was kind of under maintenance, i think, when i wanted to post. xP))

The bat followed Sai in the black smoke, and it sniffed for the boy's smell. It turned its head side to side, and while doing that Kaede headed towards Kiara. From her hands, black smoke went out, and it headed for Kiara.

As Kiara saw the witch face her and attack, she led out another scream, and this time, she used her demon powers to jump high enough to avoid the witch's attack if ever it went through.

Sai cought a bit in the dark smoke, and when he was in the middle of it he yelled as hard as he could, hoping Kiara would hear him "Kiara!! yell over me!!"  

[Chi Awase]

Kiara heard what Sai said, and turned her scream to where the black smoke was. She gave it all she could, and after a while the smoke went away from Sai, revealing the horrible bat creature and Sai. Kiara hoped her brother had a plan.

Kaede got thrown back by Kiara's powerful scream, and she stayed on the ground for quite a while. She saw Kiara leading her scream towards where Sai was and the bat she summoned. This confused her, but she was overall angry at the two for ruining her plan.

The bat was surprised as the black smoke around Sai and it was blown away, and it started to crash, since the scream affected its ears so much.  

[GimmeHug]

Sai smirked "Poor little idiots.." he whispered and rushed over his sister "are you ok??"  

[Chi Awase]

"Yeah, I'm okay. You?" Kiara said, checking Sai in case he was injured or something.

Both Kaede and the bat creature were on the ground, trying to regain strength from the attack that happened a while ago. Damn kids... Kaede thought.

Sai smirked "Few bat bites wont stop me" he said and took her hand "We should run away before they will gain new power" he offered  

[Chi Awase]

Kiara nodded, then started to run away from the witch and the creature with her brother.

Kaede wanted to stand, but the scream of the girl weakened her so much. Even the creature she summoned turned into black smoke again.

((where would they go next after that? ^^:; ))

[[I'm not sure what we were doing bfore, but let's just say that Makira and KoTari are now heading out to the market.]]

"Come on, KoTari, let's go." Makira said, grabbing her purse.

KoTari nodded and went to the porch with her. It's amazing how they run out of everything at the same time.

Makira giggled and clung on to his arm, as she normally did, and walked along side of him.

KoTari didn't mind her clinging to him. She was easier to keep an eye on that way.
He led her to the market.
