Gears of War - Defending Jacinto (Finished)

[Zahzi]

"My rifle is the only family I have left."

"So, want to do it?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...It's an inanimate object!!"

"Only if you feel you can handle it." Soqed said, nodding her head.  

[Zahzi]

"So are corpses."

"...So, do I carry you?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Those corpses were at least living at one time..."

"..Yeah. Just carry me out there and act like I'm dead." Soqed said, nodding her head. "Just... Do whatever you would normally, as if I were really dead and not just pretending."  

[Zahzi]

"But CORPSES, are inanimate."

"Alright..." Naro said, picking her up and walking out, as if she were dead.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"But those corpses were once people who were animate, where your gun has never felt anything."

Soqed immediately went limp in Naro's arms, barely taking breath. Minus the head wound that she was suppose to have, it was impossible to tell she was alive.  

[Zahzi]

"It's the only thing that reminds me of..." Frederick said before looking outside.

Naro merely looked down at her with a dull expression, as if trying to make sense of why she was 'dead'.

"James. She IS dead. And Naro knows."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

James was silent for a few moments, before he began to scream like bloody murder.
"WE'RE GONNA DIE!! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIIIIIIIEEEEEE!!" He screamed, running around in the basement in circles, flailing his arms about.  

[Zahzi]

"Correction. YOU'RE going to die..."

Soqed was now wearing Naro's intercom so she could hear them...  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Y-You pulled the trigger! Your bullets went through her head!" James barked. "If I go down, I'm taking you with me!!"

Soqed didn't react at all, except the corner of her mouth that was on Naro's side and out of Frederick's view moving up.  

[Zahzi]

"Yeah? I could easily kill you right now."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"YOU STILL PULLED THE TRIGGER!!"

"Frederick's going to kill James..." Soqed muttered quietly. "We should do something."  

[Zahzi]

"Which I can do right now."

"........................................................................Why?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"TWO WRONGS DON'T MAKE A RIGHT, FREDERICK!!"

"Because two wrongs don't make a right... Besides, I'm not even dead."  

[Zahzi]

"So?"

"...But he tried to kill you..."
