oO Lorelei Oo so I upgraded my firefox.... and not sure i like the new way they do the tab layout... miss when it was below the address bar... kinda creeps me out a bit.. and i can't quite place how but it looks more open on pages- open as in bigger screen view.. (though the monitor hasn't changed its size)
This Awesome Party Cat Says...
Oh, I love the new Firefox! And it IS more open, Lori; they removed the the menus bar, the one with "File, Help, Edit" and all that stuff. It only shows up if you press Alt now. They changed it based on some studies during the first stages of the beta, I think, because most people just use keyboard shortcuts, anyway... I stopped using Firefox for a long time BECAUSE the tabs, address bar, and menus bar took up so damn much space, and I have a small-ish computer screen, so that didn't leave me a lot of viewing window room. The new layout is like Apple's browser Safari and Google's Chrome. All of the browsers are moving to this sleek, small menu space look. The big problem I have with firefox now is that shockwave content doesn't display correctly...
