Lars relaxed somewhat until he was on edge again, he knew that it was never good to ignore the feeling that made the hair on his neck stand. He carefully picked up Makira and opened the window, being cautious he climbed out and hurried to get as far away as he could.

Misty started walking faster. "We're getting close. But he's on the run again." Misty told him.

"Dammit!" KoTari said and ran up the stairs. He found the room empty, so he went to the window and looked out. He took in a deep breath and turned to face Misty, "Come on," He said and lifted her into his arms. He jumped out the window and took off running after the scent.

Lars hurried forward, he went through an empty alley and touched the wall for a moment. A small unnoticible bomb clung to the wall, he hurried to rejoin the throng of people in the busy streets.

KoTari chased Lars into the alleyway. He didn't see the bomb planted there.

Misty let herself be carried like a lifeless doll. "Watch out." Misty warned in an emotionless tone, but it was too late anyways. The bomb went off as they passed it.

Lars smiled to himself wondering how much damage who ever was chasing him had gotten. He didnt slow down. "maybe its time to leave this town." He murmured to himself.

KoTari was thrown sideways into the crumbling wall and he collapsed. He moved so he was protecting Misty from harm. He could taste blood in his mouth. He closed his eyes and continued shielding Misty from the still falling debris.

Lar seemed satisfied to see the curious people rush into the alley. It was no doubt that it would be harder to follow if there was a crowd.

They were completely buried by the bricks. KoTari could feel his sanity fading due to the blood, "A-Are you...okay...?" He asked weakly. His primal desire for blood and raw meat was starting to become overpowering, especially since he could smell many humans coming, "...Ugh..." He groaned and lowered his head a little, keeping his eyes shut, "...Makira..."

A dark forcefield grew outwards from Misty, pushing the debris away from her and Kotari. After the debris was pushed away, Misty stood up lending out a hand to KoTari to help him up. She didn't seem very injured despite the big explosion. "Come on... He's getting away." Misty told him.

Makira started to open her eyes, but everything was still very fuzzy. "Where... Where are you... taking me?" Makira questioned. Misty... help...

KoTari remained on all fours. His hands clenched, "Misty...Run..." He said with a strained voice.

"Its a suprise." Lars dias with a smile. He hurried away with more enthusiasm. "How about you rest a little longer? Its going to be a long trip." Lars shifted her to hold the rose under her nose again, it was easier than putting a cloth to her face and getting unneeded attention.

Makira closed her eyes and fell asleep again.

Misty nodded. She levitated in the air and flew quickly in the direction that Lars headed. She flew over the crowd to see if she could spot her.

"Find her...make sure she's...safe..." KoTari said and opened his eyes. They were blood red and slitted. Makira was everything to him. He would be happy just knowing she was alright...Then he could fade away like his instincts want him to.
