Lars carried Makira carefully, he was wary of anyhting she could hit.

Misty spotted Makira. "Let my master go!" She commanded, launching a dark orb at the man.

Lars looked suprised and moved out of the orbs way. He didnt know what it would do, nor did he want to. "BEcareful, you might hurt her." He hissed angrily.  

[Bullet_Ber]

Misty realize that she was endangering her master by attacking this man. She swooped down, aiming to snatch Makira from the creep.

Lars puled out a poisoned knife, he held onto Makira tightly, he would not have her taken away now.

Misty screamed as the knife stabbed right into her shoulder. She fell onto the ground, writhing in pain. Before Lars could escape, she shot a smaller, marble sized orb at Makira from her fingertips. It didn't seem to have any effects aside from making Makira glow for about half a second. "I'm sorry Makira... please... forgive me..." And with that, Misty passed out.

KoTari stood from the rubble. He smelled fresh blood...Turning around, he ran straight towards where Misty was. Any humans that got in the way were impaled by his growing claws, driving him even further into a frenzy. Soon he was near Misty.
Lifting a dead human with one arm, he threw the corpse at Lars.

Lars moved Makira out of the way quickly, taking most of the force from the impact. He turned quickly, running to get away from Kotari, it was no doubt that the strange man could probably follow his scent even if he changed forms.

KoTari growled and threw another freshly made corpse at Lars. There was no way he was going to loose him now.

Lars fell, he turned back around wondering how many people were going to step forwarad and get killed. "Stop!, I will kill her." LArs proclaimed. He held the knife close to Makira, he did want to hurt her but he couldnt outfight a bloodthirsty man who was killing people like flowers.

KoTari could smell that Lars would not kill her. Cut her maybe, but not kill her. He stepped forward without so much as a brief hesitation, cracking the knuckles of his scaled hands. He was going to savour this one.

Lars didnt step back, He aimed to stab Makira in the chest. He liked the girl but he liked living even more.

"Leave the girl or you're dead," KoTari said, showing his long fangs as he spoke. He wasn't kidding.

Misty coughed up some blood. "KoTari... No..." Misty aimed her hand at KoTari and a dark mist formed around him, restraining him. She wasn't about to put her master's life in danger. She aimed her thoughts towards KoTari. Let him take her... We'll can find her and bring her back... If she dies, we'll never get her back... Misty told him in his mind. She was covering her wound with her other hand, but it was still gushing out blood.

KoTari was insane with rage, even as he was bound and held there. He roared a full throated dragon roar at Lars. Tears flowed from his glowing crimson eyes as he reached out one clawed hand towards Makira. He needed her...
