Lars shifted, he watched KoTari, not sure what was happening but knowing full well that running could make things worse.

Misty looked at Lars angrily. "I'm giving you 3 seconds to run before I release KoTari. 3..." Misty started. I'm sorry Makira... We will save you... I promise...

"LET ME GO NOW!!!" KoTari roared. His telepathic thoughts driving the most intense fear in anyone who could hear him, often freezing them in their tracks. Most of the people who were fleeing froze in place. His roar practically shook the ground.

Misty froze, but she didn't let go. She saw people stopping in their tracks and then looked back at Lars.

Makira was awakened by the sound of KoTari's voice in her head. Her eyes shot open, but it didn't take long for her to realize that there was a knife being pointed at her. Tears escaped her eyes when she saw KoTari being bounded by Misty. "No! KoTari!! Let Him Go!!" She shouted. The rose was still making her drowsy, but she was resisting it as much as she could.

Lars nodded, he turned to run with the somewhat struggle Makira. He wasnt about to waste the time he had to get away from Kotari. The man was dangerous and it wasnt everyday he was given a head start. Lars shook his head and triad to knock Makira out again,. it wouldnt help if she woke up completely and ran away.

Makira struggled weakly against Lars, but the attempt was pointless.

"2..." Misty continued.

KoTari's hands fell to the ground and his claws dug in. White scales began to appear on his body, unwilling to keep his human form anymore. One small thought in the back of his mind surfaced. This is what Kieran felt when Lily was taken away. He couldn't stand being apart from his love. KoTari cried out in emotional agony. He could only watch as his love was taken from him.

Lars held onto Makira, he moved the knife away and focused on having his scent covered up. He wasnt going to run through the market place again because that would put random people in danger and make it harder to run fast, so he considered getting out of town again.

KoTari turned on Misty. She's the reason why he couldn't devour Lars. So he was going to destroy her and then go after Lars again. Half human, half Dragon, he roared and lunged at her, fangs and claws at the ready.

Misty was scared, but she knew she had to do this. "1..." She said, her voice shaking. She kept the restraint strong, but she was ready to let go any moment now.

KoTari roared and again struggled to impale Misty. She's a dead woman for keeping him from his wife.

Once Misty saw that Makira had gone, she let go of the restraints. She stood up and braced herself against whatever KoTari was about to do to her.

KoTari's fangs sank into her shoulder and he tackled her to the ground. He snarled when he tasted the girl's blood. Young human blood is the best tasting after all.
