Pro tip: Don't cause a huge scene or be too violent unless you want heroes to investigate. XD Darkness rarely goes unopposed, after all.

Aside from that, there's only one thing you really need to know (ESPECIALLY as a villain): We like to call it the "stupidity clause". Basically, your characters can't be killed off against your will... unless they do something so incredibly stupid that they kind of deserve it. XD Knowing when to retreat, especially against powerful enemies, is a good survival skill. Unless you have someone with the Lin Kuei group, but they're a bit special that way...

Best to do it in a way that doesn't piss off your master, though. o wo Villains are less forgiving of failure than heroes are... and the heroes are VERY good at making the villains fail. We have fought many foes, survived many challenges, and occasionally surfed nuclear missiles into the face of Nyarlathotep. (<- True Story)

But yeah, retreating usually is an option. ^^ How familiar are you with the overall Shin Megami Tensei series?

Anyways, Villian or Hero, we're allowed retreat...to an Extent.
Granted, you want the skills Traesto, or Trafuri for that, for guranteed retreat....Buuuuuuut, usually they'll give you a chance to retreat....And or An obvious 'Hey! Don't stay here, or you'll die'

OwO Okay... since when did villains forgive their minions? Eh, but best to avoid such a situation. And that is why Karasu always has to plan a Plan B: Runaway.

Okay, sure! Yeah... you already introduced yourself, O Mighty Necromonium XD Nah, I don't think Karasu's Persona or Shadow Form would have Traesto or Trafuri... But hey, she'll escape the first chance she got if she is going to lose.

He's a boss. He could take it. XD Versus foes like that, you want to bring all you've got... and my main Persona user is basically walking artillery now.


(But yeah. Minimal forgiveness and nigh-impossible missions make it tough to be a villain. XD Be sufficiently awesome and you should do fine, though.)

Ah. Nah, you need a glass cannon. Everyone protects that cannon and you are guaranteed to win the fight after a few turns. XD At least, that was what I did in Persona 3 and 4.

Rednal's not really a glass cannon, though. More of a Mighty Glacier. XD Tough to take down AND heavy offense... but a bit lacking in the realm of super-speed.
