He stepped into the room slowly, the floor creaking slightly beneath their feet, Duri turned to June after opening the window, "Well June, I really wanna say this but, this isn't really the best place," Duri adjusted his coat, and a rose petal fell out and glided gently to the ground.

June kept her eyes fixed on Duri's face, trying not to bother questioning the petal "...then where do you think would be?" she asked impatiently

Duri placed his hand on chin, "Well I've always liked places with a view, and its almost sunsetm So howabout the clocktower?" The clock tower had been Duriono's favorite place to think, and it had an amazing view.

Duri took June's hand and leaped out the window, humming the entire way until they sat at Duri's usual spot on the clock tower, staring into the sky of which seemed to go on for eternity. "June," Duri turned to her.

June hesitantly looked away from the entrancing sky and turned to Duri. Holding her breath, she smiled a little before catching herself and keeping a monotonously passive face. "yes?"

Duri grinned and reached into his coat, "Well June I don't mean to sound cleçhe by making this speach but," he slid a little closer to June, with a sencere smile, "You've done so much for me, and all I've done is cause you pain... It seems unfair to me that now I'm so happy with this dumb grin on my face and you're forced to carry that scowl alot of the time, And recently I've been feeling closer to you, closer than best friends are to eachother," Duri slowly began to pull out the bundle of flowers, "So maybe, we could both wake up with a grin every morning?"

June glanced at the flowers in surprise before getting to her feet and taking a step back. Tightening her fists, she turned her back to him "Stop playing around. Why can't you simply tell me what you mean rather than pathetically attempt to cajole me?" June crossed your arms "You're a perverted demon, and I'm the angel you'll eventually hate most. Quit. Changing. Your. Mind." She growled. Taking a few steps forward, she debated jumping over the edge. Looking over the tower, a tear ran down her cheek.

Duri stood up, "Ok, one I'm not a perv and two, does race really matter so much to you?" He placed his hand on June's shoulder "Why do you just think I'm going to end up betraying you?" he removed his hand and sat down, "Dammit... everytime I try to take a step the fact that I'm a demon pulls me back," he mumbled and stood up once jore, "Keep the flowers.. And if there's nothing else you have to say then I'll be going, he put one leg into the hatch leading to the internal parts of the tower.

June quickly turned around and wrapped her arms around Duri tightly, burying her head in his chest "I don't want to hurt you. The demon-angel thing. You may be trying to resist it, but you could only last five minutes!" More tears streamed down her cheek "...And I don't want to betray you..."

Duri raised June's head, "Please, please don't cry... I don't think you could actually betray me, thats just not you," He wrapped his arms around the angel, "I promise, both of us that, well that I'll demolish the barrier that's the light." Duri thought he was being rather poetic with that last sentence.

June shut her eyes, she cheeks pinkening "oh, I feel so lame right now." She laughed a little "All this time, I believed those first few words that came out of your mouth when Kagura asked if you liked me." June reopened her eyes, smiling "You like me, don't you?"

June gave him an unamused look before her gaze softened when he looked at her. Reciprocating the gaze he gave her, her cheeks became bright red

Duri shrugged, keeping his eyes on June, "So, uh what do we do now?" his face reddened.
