Joy. Get what I get to do tomorrow?
Well, for one thing, my dad wants to do something tomorrow, and neither my brother or I has responded to that email yet. s**t. Just remembered that, actually. Aw crap. I'll just say I never check my hotmail, which is true, and he knows that.
Anyhoo, aside from that, one of the music teachers at my school decided before that the Saxophone Ensemble should perform at the Bids and Bands tomorrow night, which is a fundraiser for our music department.
Anyways, three out of our...three...tenor players can't make it. So my co-conductor shall be playing the soprano saxophone on the tenor part (considering that the instruments are in the same key) while she's handing the two songs she normally conducts over to me.
Which means I'm conducting two songs that I have conducted maybe twice before, one of which has a tempo change, time change, and a few fermatas. Oh this should be interesting. Guh. And she has the music, so if she forgets the music (which she has done before) then I get to conduct by ear. Which isn't a problem for the songs except for that one with the fermatas.
I did it once before when she couldn't make it to a rehearsal, because I knew when the time change was (goes from 3/4 to 2/4) and I just watched the players and when they looked up and stared at me I knew it was a fermata. Not a great way of doing things though, so hopefully Ems doesn't forget the music tomorrow.
And I was so happy today at lunch because it was the first lunch I had this week that I had to myself *yay*
And I'm still waiting to hear from my specialist doctor person about the results of the xrays and the ECG. And my mom wants me to go to the walk in clinic sometime too because my throat has been hurting for about two weeks and she thinks it has something to do with my tonsils -____- But it'd require waiting there for at least two hours, and I've had busy nights every night this week so it wouldn't really work. So meh. I figure that if my throat still hurts when I go in to talk to the specialist about the results of the hospital visit then I'll ask him about my throat 3nodding
Holy s**t, that was a long post. Hem. Sorry guys -___- I'm just really nervous about tomorrow.
