Yukio shook off the genjutsu's effects. "Well, either way we should try visiting him sometime. You'll need to see him in order to get the rest of your grass training scrolls anyways." he replied as he went over the last of the basic genjutsu techniques.

Bouzenjishitsu no Jutsu (Stupification Technique)
Description: The user locks eyes with the target and forces a hand seal. For as long as the two can keep looking at each other without being distracted or obstructed, both cannot move. When the user blinks, it's also over.

[1/2] Yukio locked eyes with Amara and made a hand seal. Suddenly Amara would feel a heavy weight bear down on her as it became harder for her to move. However, the fact that she could still move around was proof that the technique wasn't complete yet.

[2/2] Yukio tried the jutsu again. This time both of them came to a complete standstill as neither of them would be able to even budge. The genjutsu suddenly ended when Yukio blinked, releasing the hold on both of them.

"You're right. Besides, it would be nice to say hello to him. But that'll be after I'm done dealing with you and Velox. Hopefully a little spar with him will do me some good."

(1/2) Amara shook off the effects of the jutsu and began trying it for herself. She stared at Yukio as she made the handseal. Unfortunately, she could still see him moving around. It seemed as if it hadn't worked too well.

(2/2) Amara tried again, her red eyes staring through the mask at Yukio. Soon he would feel a great weight upon him, making him unable to move. She continued to stare at him, keeping the jutsu in place until she couldn't stand it anymore and finally blinked. Indeed, that would be a useful jutsu when she ended up in a group. She just hoped that if she had to use it, her comrads would be quick enough to take advantage of it.

"Good luck." Yukio said with a smile. "Dog-boy is tough."

Magen: Kokuni Arazu No Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique)
Description: An illusion technique which disguises the surroundings as something else. For instance, you can make a classroom number that actually is room 201 appears as room 301... This will only work on targets no bigger than an adult man.

[1/2] Yukio started trying to learn the first genin level technique. He knew it would be a bit harder for Amara to learn, since she was still only a genin, but maybe her specialty in genjutsu would help her here. Anyways, Yukio started small by putting on an illusion that made Amara think that his tie had shifted from its dark red color to a light green.

[2/2] After that worked, Yukio tried the illusion on larger objects, such as transforming his white button-down shirt into a multi-colored hawaiian shirt. "Heh heh, I think this will be handy if I'm ever late to a date." Yukio joked.

(1/3) Amara started the handsigns in an attempt at getting the jutsu down. Unfortunately, her first attempt failed miserably. She couldn't even change the color of the grass.

(2/3) With a slight huff she decided to try once again. Her hands quickly formed the handseals and something managed to come out of this one. A couple blades of grass began changing color from green to brown, but it wasn't good enough for Amara.

(3/3) With the hopes of getting this jutsu down, she tried once again. Amara began making the handseals and focused on a worm that was popping up out of the dirt. Thanks to her jutsu, the worm would appear to Yukio as an injured bird.

With a smile Amara narrowed her eyes in a sinister smile. That would be another grand jutsu. She was probably having more fun learning Genjutsu's than anything else. Especially since in most cases, the mind could be easily fooled.

Yukio immediately ran over when he saw an injured bird, but as soon as he started to heal it the bird shifted back into an unharmed worm. Feeling foolish, Yukio just picked himself back up and went over the next genjutsu on the list.

Magen: Narakumi No Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Vision of Hell Technique)
Description: A low level illusion skill, which makes the opponent envision a very traumatic scene. After being put in some form of trance by leaves, grass, flower petals, and dust flying in front of the eyes, the target creates this vision himself. The jutsu only forces the target to think about the worst event possible for them, and then capitalizes on that by showing it happen.

[1/2] Yukio gulped after reading through the genjutsu. This was the first technique that could cause serious emotional trauma to Amara and him. Still, Yukio tried to hope for the best that it wouldn't be so bad, and continued with trying to learn the technique. He tried it on Amara, and suddenly a bunch of leaves and grass would pick themselves up and swirl around her.

[2/2] As the leaves and grass danced in front of her eyes, Yukio seemed to mutter, "Sorry." Suddenly a vision formed itself in Amara's mind, where she would suddenly see the worst event possible for her. Yukio knew from her reaction that it had worked.

She snickered lightly as she watched Yukio go after the bird. It was the reaction she had been expecting, which also made her learn a little bit more of him.

The next Jutsu seemed to affect her even more than the others though. In her eyes she saw the bloody mess of her fallen parents. She looked left and right, it looked like her home, and she could see the blood on the walls.

Amara reached up quickly and pulled the mask from her face. Her red eyes continued to stare on until something crossed her mind, and that was that it was a genjutsu.

(1/3) When she finally shook herself out of it she turned to Yukio. He looked a little hurt but this was training. It was good for her to go through it, that way she would know when someone was trying it on her again. Amara made the seals and began trying it. Unfortunately nothing happened.

(2/3) Amara tried the seals once again. She was concentrating deeply. This time, a few rose petals began twirling around Yukio, signalling that she was getting the hang of it.

(3/3) Amara tried it once again. As the petals began twirling around Yukio, she knew the genjutsu was starting to work. Like she had, he was starting to get that look of terror in his eyes as he witnessed something perhaps long forgotten.

While the jutsu was working, Amara placed the mask back over her eyes. Cursing herself for taking it off in the first place.

Yukio was mesmerized by the petals that twirled around him, and suddenly a loud voice woke him out of it. "YUKIO!" the voice boomed. Yukio whirled around to see his brother walk through the meadow towards him. "H-Hirose!? W-W-What are you doing here?" Hirose stared at Yukio with cool, serious eyes as his mane of crimson hair bounced with each step. "You know exactly why I'm here, little brother. You're shaming the family with your juvenille acts. It's time for you to stop playing shinobi and return home." Yukio clapped his hands to his face as his world seemed to shatter, and he fell down into an infinite dark abbys. "NOOOOoooooooooo!"



Suddenly the effects of the genjutsu wore off, and Yukio found himself screaming in front of Amara. "Wow....okay that was scary. Let's move on, shall we?" Yukio read through the next genjutsu on this list. "Alright, I'm going to need you to start walking around for this one."

Amara watched Yukio scream and simply stood there. When he asked her to walk around, she simply nodded and began walking like he commanded.

Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu (Sly Fellow Mind Skill)
Prerequisites: Magen: Kokuni Arazu no Jutsu
Description: This technique was developed in order to slow down an enemy’s movement and confuse them while the user prepares an assault against them. It cannot be used in combat, therefore the user has to ensure that they are unseen by the enemy and hidden from their view. Then performing a series of seals, they create a powerful genjutsu that binds the selected targets to the area they are currently in. This means, every time the victims attempt to leave the area they will loop around and be straight back to the beginning.

[1/2] Yukio hid himself from view as Amara walked around, and then he slowly memorized the seals for the jutsu. After getting the motion down, he tried it out for real and looked over at Amara to see if she would be effected. After she changed directions though, he knew that she hadn't been effected yet.

[2/2] Yukio performed the seals again, hoping to get it right this time. As it turned out, he had accidentally performed one seal before the others the last time he tried. This time the genjutsu worked, and without ever noticing Amara would just repeatedly walk around in a circle. Yukio could see how this genjutsu could be used to prepare the surrounding environment for battle, especially when targeting a group. After releasing Amara, Yukio did his turn and started walking around for Amara to practice on.

That had been very strange. Amara recognized it as the next one to learn after she had been released though. As Yukio began walking around, Amara too went to hiding in the bushes.

(1/3) Amara waited a little bit before she started this new jutsu. She made the handseals but nothing happened. He just kept walking around. Obviously she hadn't done it right.

(2/3) Amara tried it once again. Like before, she missed something making the jutsu ineffective. Still, Yukio was walking around. She shook her head and began concentrating harder.

(3/3) This time, she finally managed to do it. Amara made the handseals required and began the jutsu. She looked up through the bushes and watched as Yukio walked around in circles.

With a smile, she realsed the jutsu and leapt out of her hiding spot. "What else have we got?"

"Let's see, the next one is a track covering jutsu to lose anybody tailing after you." Yukio replied as he read through the next genjutsu on the list.

Senro Ue Fuku no Jutsu (Track Covering Technique)
Description: This is a simple genjutsu that allows you to cover up foot prints in mud, snow, sand and grass. With each step the user takes they send a small burst of chakra to their feet. The chakra that is left on the ground where they stepped creates an illusion that makes it look like whatever element they were walking in hasn‘t been disturbed. The illusion lasts for three hours and then begins to diminish.

[1/2] Yukio took a couple of steps in the grass and turned back to face them. He then followed the scroll's instructions and used the jutsu to place an illusion on them, making it seem like anything in the area of his footsteps had remained undisturbed. This jutsu worked the first time Yukio tried it, but it quickly faded away after several seconds.

[2/2] Yukio continued his practice in order to lengthen the time of the illusion. Eventually, he got it to the point where it would last for about three hours, and he was satisfied with that. Yukio figured that this genjutsu might come in handy during his robbery chases.

The explosion from the tags sent Velox flying back. They left burns on his arms but they were not to severe. He grunted as he stumbled over to his weights and tried to strap them on. He then sat down.

When his dizziness was finally over Velox looked on and watched Yukio and Amara train. He was intrigued by what Genjutsu could do to someone, but he was even more intrigued with Amara. He felt a type of feeling for her creeping up on him that he had never felt before.

"Well that's pretty interesting. Should be useful when the time comes." Amara watched as Yukios footprints seemed to dissappear before her eyes.

(1/3) She was excitced to try it herself. Amara began walking through the grass and turned to see the spots where her footprints stayed. Amara quickly slapped her hands together and tried the jutsu. Unfortunately nothing seemed to happen.

(2/3) Amara looked at the footprints and tried it once more. Again she slapped her hands together and tried the jutsu. It worked for two of her five steps, but one could see them clearly again after a few moments.

(3/3) "Third times a charm." Amara once again made the handseals. This time her footprints dissappeared completely. She began walking again and smiled as the jutsu continued working. She dropped it after a few minutes though and looked over to Velox.

She ran to Velox and looked over to him. "Hey there. Are you alright? Yukio didn't hurt you did he?"

((Uuuummm.....whoops))

"Oh I'm sure he's fine." Yukio said as the paper from the dome started drifting back to Yukio, leaving the unconscious dogs on the ground. "I mean he only had like...two active grenades go off on his arms, and then another two hit him in the chest. I'm sure he'll just shake it off." Yukio laughed as the paper surrounded him again and then condensed on his back in the form of his backpack, paper straps latching around his shoulders to hold itself there.
