Dais sighed, and the ferret chirped as it was dropped on Dais's shoulder. While Klay was in the "Adventuring" mood, Dais wouldn't put himself in that position. However, Dais was a bit curious about the happenings of Vackel, seeing how the main palace had been in flames.

He watched silently as Klay acted out whatever it was he was acting out. "Yes. He's fine." Aldon wasn't the least bit hurt. The ferret was still happily crawling around and jumping. He managed a smile smile. "Kid, what's your name?"

Klay smiled "Well, my name is Klay! Klay Tekon, and yours sir?" Klay looked up, this man seemed to tower over him, but Klay wasn't easily intimidated. Plus, this man cared for a small animal which showed Klay that this person wasn't a bad guy. The palace behind was in a heap and people spewed out of their homes to watch as soldiers got everyone out safely.

Øø__Ume got
out of the guards arms and told him to go help. She walked around and
sighed. Her brother was going to be so mad. He was probably extra
worried about her right now. Its not like she wanted to go to Vackle, and
now she wanted to get home. So she started walking."Wait how do I get
back home?"she asked herself and frowned."Aw this isn't fair."she told
herself then smiled again remembering that Klay was her. She though
that he might know the way home. She walked down some destroyed
hallways and made sure not to get hurt by any of the rubble that lied
around. She looked ahead of her and spotted Klay talking to some guy.
She walked over, but before she said anything she started staring at the
ferret as if she had never seen one before.__øØ

Appearances and habit could be deceiving. Dais nodded. "Dais Balderon. What are you doing here? Wouldn't your parents be worried?" the librarian asked. In reality, he didn't really truly care at all.

But then, another kid had appeared on the scene. She was staring at him. Correction, she was staring at Aldon. Dais looked down at the ferret.

"Sqee!" the ferret waved in the direction of the girl.

Klay turned to see Ume, "Ah, there you are!" Klay laughed and grabbed Ume around her shoulders. "This here is Ume! Ume, meet Mr. Balderon!" Klay chuckled, "He's an oldie" Klay whispered to Ume. The ferret was waving which made Klay smile, "That ferret has quite the personality! I was sure it had a cool owner!" Klay laughed and gave Ume a hug. "You were out for a while, I'm glad your okay."

Lord Vackel looked away from his healer looking towards Sumiko's parents. " No We have our acomidations all taken care of, I will have to have a talk with your daughter though. " He said as he looked back at the man who was healing him.

Fayte looked down at Lunia then to Omotayo, he must be her knight or something, at leeast that's what Fayte thought. He looked up at Echo. " Echo where are you staying? I don't think I've heard about you living in Vackel. " He was happy that Lunia had someone she knew well around, with Omotayo there maybe her pain would subside.

at the ferret and did a little curtsy"Hello little one."she said then straightened
up before Klay grabbed her around her shoulders. She looked at the man in
front of her then laughed when she heard Klay calling him an oldie. She
hugged him when he hugged her and then looked at him with a big goofy
grin."Hehe I was just faking for the most part. I didn't want to get involved
with everything."she told him.__øØ

Children these days... Dais merely nodded to acknowledge Ume's existence when Klay introduced her to him. He watched silently as Ume and Klay hugged. Then looked back at Aldon, who was trying to imitate Ume's curtsy and honestly just failing.

The ferret did have an interesting personality and was more vibrant than the much older Dais.

Dais didn't know that Ume had been out for so long as he hadn't paid close attention to her through Aldon's eyes. Besides, most of what Aldon had dealt with was Klay.

"WWHHHUUUU!!??" Klay gasped, "You didn't see me running around saving everyone!?" Klay laughed, "I guess you'll always be a girl" Klay smiled and rubbed his head, "I guess girls aren't adventurers." Klay glanced back at Dais and his ferret and then back at Ume. Vackal seemed to be under control with all the water users and soldiers, but what caused this in the first place? "Hey mister Balderon sir, what happened here? Do you know?" Klay asked, Dais seemed highly educated and would hopefully have information on the matter.

"I'll go get my daughter."he said
and left the room. He wandered around until he found her laying on the
ground."Sumiko our Lord want to see you."he told her then bent down "Are
you alright dear?"he asked her.


∫Sumiko looked up at her father then sat up."Oh,
ok father."she said then nodded answering his question. She stood up,
dusted herself off then looked around at the piles of rubble. She wanted to
make sure that none of the debri got destroyed because they could
analyze the debri and that could give them some answers to why they
were attacked and what they used to attack. Like Fayte, Sumiko wanted
answers too.
She followed her father down a hall and to the room the Lord was."Um
you wanted to speak to me?"she asked him and walked over to him so he
would not have to yell across the room.∫

Øø__Ume puffed her cheeks and put her hand on her hips."Hey im all for
adventure, but I just felt like staying out of things this time!"she slightly
yelled then started punching his shoulder, just not very hard that it would
hurt. She stopped when he asked Dais if he knew anything about what
happened here. She looked at him waiting for his answer. She was curious
about what happened.__øØ

Hah. The typical kiddie girl and guy situation. Unfortunately for the children, Dais did not know the answer to the question. "I'm not sure. I have only arrived here recently, after you. Someone must have attacked the palace," he hazarded. "Have you learned anything on this matter while you were fighting?"

Klay laughed when Ume attacked him, it was kind of humorous to see her puff her cheeks up like that. "Okay, okay, whatever you say then Ume." Klay's smile turned into a frown when Dais had no information, it meant he wasn't the only one left in the dark, in fact Klay was sure more than just Dais, Ume and himself were unclear on what exactaly happened. "Maybe if you were wondering, Dais, we could ask the lord of Vackel. He was one of the many in the palace when it was attacked." Klay laughed "It seems Vackel isn't as friendly as it seems, unless the attacker had no intentions other than to cause havok." Suddenly Klay was hit with a thought, "Hey, if Vackel and Damascus are good allies, what if Damascus is to get attacked while a good amount of it's forces are here at Vackel!?" Klay couldn't believe he was thinking this, what if it happened?

shrugged when Dais had nothing."Oh well."she said then listened to what
Klay had said. She wouldn't want to talk to the lord of Vackle. The last thing
he said made her eyes widen. That would be bad, but not because things
would be getting attaked but because she knew that her brother would help
fight. And her brother might get really hurt.__øØ
