Wal-mart was having a clear-out sale and were selling HeartGold, Ho-oh figure and all...for only $30.

I realized this only after spending my only spare money on Scribblenauts.

Isn't that the regular price...? I'm going to check that. ninja

EDIT: Yep regular price... At least in my gamestop. Of course you no longer get the figure, but I haven't even opened mine yet...

Yep, just like all other DS games. Although I didn't account for tax, but even then it only comes to around $32. I didn't know there such a difference between prices in the Fatherland...? eek

For me it was $35 plus tax. ^^

But the import I got in September cost me close to like $70! Ugh...

But it was worth it. ^^

All my Pokemon were level twenty-five at the time I entered the Gym. When I fought him a few were twenty-six from the previous trainers in the Gym.

It was a tough match though, he got me down to two Pokemon. My Kangaskhan and Sandshrew (who would have been defenseless). But luckily he only managed to use Hypnosis->Dream Eater on one, my Poliwag. Once I got my Kangaskhan out though, it was cake, his attack is through the roof and ghost defense is generally pretty weak. I used bite to finish off Gengar and the rest of his Haunter on my way to victory. biggrin

A decent psychic type works, as well. I think I took down his entire team with Hypno spamming Psybeam.


Anyway, I beat Pryce and got through the Radio Tower. Gengar finally learned Shadow Ball, and proceeded to OHKO pretty much everything the Grunts had. It was beautiful. *tear*

Also WHY DOES SILVER WANT ME NAKED THAT IS CREEPY gonk

I have it. Silver is my nostalgia and I have a DS, so I got soul silver. I'm quite happy with it, I just wish I had more time to play it. I'm at the Dragon Gym atm.

That whole 'Silver catches you disguising as a Team Rocket member' scene gets really weird if you're playing as a girl.

Nice. No such luck here; Chikorita gets slaughtered by the first two gyms, although Bayleef was actually pretty good when I got to Whitney.

I used Cookie's Totodile for the first two gyms, then Golem for Whitney, Miltank for Morty, Crobat for that fighting dude, Golem for Jasmin, and Miltank and Crobat and Golem for Pryce.

Probably going to use Totodile for Claire. :3
