I'm mainly into goth music and goth clothing, but as for my political beliefs and stuff I'm pretty much a hippie. I live in the US, the south nonetheless, where hippy-ism isn't that common. My parents were hippies though, so that explains me.

I'm a 17 year old flower child I guess. Music tastes go all over the place, though most of the time I couldn't tell you the name of a song or who sings it. Ooh...a thread for introducing yourself...

I've probably done so already, and it's not really necessary, but I'll do t anyway!

I'm Lord Thatlatu of the Tofu, but most of my friends call me lattu. I like being an annoying, insolent, egotistic, socialist b*****d, but I am very strong in my support of peace, love, the earth, and good music. I live near Portland, Oregon, one of the biggest hippy cities in the US, and I like all the crazy people here. I came here because it was on beano's guild list, and I'm pretty sure beano wouldn't be in a crappy guild. My favourite activities here appear to be posting and getting yelled at, as with almost all the other guilds I'm in. My usual outfit is a pair of Dr. "Air Wair" Martens high topped boots, a battered green coat with a generic peace sign on the back (I would use a swastika, but everybody thinks that represents nazism, even though it is a symbol of well-being, peace, and luck), pants with lots of pockets (usually army pants, just because of the abundance of useful pockets and the fact that they're usually more durable and comfortable that normal pants), and one of my many swell shirts. I compose and record music, mostly Classical, Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Northern Folk Rock, and New Age. I LOVE music and I play about 10 different instruments. My favourite bands are REM, the Beatles, Greatful Dead, and The M.O.S.S. (my band). On the Political level, I'm a far-left Socialist and I am as active as possible in opposing the warlike intentions of George Bush, d**k Cheney, and others like them. I plan on eventually emigrating from the U.S. to Canada, Cuba, or the Netherlands. Three people I admire are John Lennon, Che Guevera, and Buddha.

There, now you know a bit about me.

Oh yeah, I'm 14 (15 in about a month) and I like Edamame.

I'm Sabre. My real name's Kat. I live in Texas and I'm liberal, a vegetarian, not religious, and bi which is just all kinds of fun here. Most of the music on my MP3 player is classic rock (and mainly Beatles and Who stuff).
I like to collect dolls and have done so since I was 9 (good ones, not Barbie). Right now I'm into Pullips ("creepy" bigheaddolls) and have a hippie doll in my group - Julia. Most of my dolls are named after classic rock songs or people (Astrid Kirchherr, Anna Kirchherr, Stu Sutcliffe, Julia Diamonds, Lucy Sky Diamonds, Lily Daltrey, Prudence Deer, Sadie Starrla, Cynthia Starkey, Melancholia, Layla Shankar).
I love books and I'm trying to read the Bhagavad Gita. I read all sorts of books ranging from Harry Potter to Alexander Dumas to Angela's Ashes. I like 1960s lesbian pulp fiction but I've only got 1 of those types of books since I can't find them very often. sad
I like doing art - 2-D and 3-D stuff and I dabble in photography a little even though I don't have any formal training in it.

Hey. I'm Epona Bride, and I live in AZ. I've been a hippy pretty much my entire life, ever since I was old enough to know about what happened during the Sixties. I'm a leftist and have been thinking a lot about both communism and anarchism over the last year. I'm a vegetarian and a big-time animal lover as well as a radical environmentalist. I also like science, though, so in that respect I'm not your typical hippie. I've also been trying to stop myself from talking constantly about politics- it's hard, but I've made some progress. I'm about to start reading the Rig Veda due to my interest in Eastern culture (despite being a Pastafarian). I'm also in AP math and social studies, and I play tennis and hike for exercise. (I prefer hiking- the tennis is mainly for college.) Oh-almost forgot-I absolutely ADORE the Beatles! *Starts singing "All You Need Is Love"

I'm vegan_chica on Gaia, IRL my name is Jacquelyn. As my name suggests I am a vegan. I'm fifteen years old. I'm a member of PETA2's street team and I do Youth Court. I support Greenpeace and I'm a communist, much to my father's annoyance. He's one of the most conservative people you'll ever meet in your lifetime. Still, I love him.

Personality wise, I'm crazy. I'm quite outspoken and opinionated, but then I can go into periods of calmness. Beware of pms induced mood swings! Lol.

Things I like: I like to cook, but the food doesn't always turn out ettible. I eat it anyway. I love drawing and painting. I get to go to NYC the April for the art trip at school! So fun! I love going to my family's camp way out in the middle of nowhere. It's so far out in the woods that you can't get electricity. Not many of my guests want to come when they here there's no running water either. lol Nag Champa incense. I heart Nag Champa incense. I just burned some yesterday in my room and it smells so good!

Things I dislike: KFC, and the whole meat industry as well torturing animals for their billions of dollars. They're rich enough to instal some humane methods. Greedy bastards... I don't like people who hog the school bathroom by putting on their makeup. There's this group of girls, about five of them, who crowd around the mirror every morning. You an't squeeze past them and if you ask them politly to move, they ignore you. Very annoying...
