It's really good so far. I was getting confused at first but I keep reading it, it makes more sense.

I'm on chapter 7 right now. I'm trying to read it slower than what I normally read so that I can fully understand it. When I read fast, I tend it miss stuff and then I get lost.

(By the way, is there anything in manga you don't like seeing? Saiyuki has moments that might be bothersome to certain people, and I should've warned you beforehand, but if there's anything you avoid in manga, tell me. I'll try to remember if it's in there somewhere. It isn't over-the-top terrifying, but I know people have little things that bug them, and Saiyuki can get a little dark at times. I don't know. It's just a precaution.)

It's getting really good now. But I have to ask, the priest is human and the other three are Youkai right? 'Cuz in some cases it seems like it's saying that all four guys are youkai.

Nah, I'm good with manga that gets a little dark. I don't think I have any issues with anything bothersome yet, but I'll let you know.

Sanzo(the priest) is human, while the rest are youkai, but also not. Goku(the little one) is a heretical being, more like a sage than a youkai, but close enough, Gojyo(the redhead) is a half-youkai, and Hakkai(the one in green) is a youkai who was once human(spoiler, sorry). The men at the temple where Sanzo was raised believed/spread rumors that he was a demon because of his exotic features and personality, and were also jealous I think, because of the attention Koumyou(Sanzo's master) was giving him.

All right, just making sure.

No prob. Yeah, it gets a little confusing at times. Some fans were afraid Sanzo would turn into a demon somewhere along the way, but there's some extra stuff not in the books that pretty much says it won't happen. I didn't know that until someone on Tumblr posted a link to it. I learned a whole lot.

That's cool. I thought at times something was going to change Sanzo, but then I'd rethink 'he's human, he can turn into a demon' or something like that.

Have you read the sequels of Saiyuki? The website I posted earlier has two sequels, but both are not complete yet.

There are multiple installments in the series. I've finished Gensoumaden, Reload, Gaiden, and Dice of Destiny. I'm reading Reload BLAST right now(it's still in progress), but I haven't read Ibun yet. The new BLAST and Ibun chapters aren't on manga sites, though. I read them through the saiyuki_manga LiveJournal community. Ah, there's also the Ants of Heaven series, also on the LiveJournal community(there's only like, one chapter though).

Duuuuuuuude, did you read the newest Bleach chapter?! I ******** knew it!

That's good, I thought all the character's would become youkai by the end of that manga.

Wow, that's a lot of installments for this series.

I know! I can't wait to hear how Ichigo's parents fell in love and all that and what Ichigo will do next. Maybe he'll ask Ishida to teach him quincy techniques.
