Like when Aeka first arrived and stuff he liked her the most for a while, i think it wasnt until kagato took ryoko that he started liking them the same since he almost lost her and realized how much he liked her.
And when washuu-chan has the baby i think he starts to like her more too, so they ve all become equals now really, but they were differences at times.
To decide who he will pick something special will have to happen =)

I just see Tenchi really being WITH Ryoko.

But it only further proves my point when you say Tenchi yells at her more.
Well just think about for a second. He kinda lets Ayeka do whatever shes gonna do. Now lets REALLY think about that.
From the point of view of someone looking to get into a serious (or is IN a serious) relationship.... doesn't Tenchis action seem like that of a boyfriend ... possible fiance.
Wouldn't you yell and correct someone to make them a better person. A better person for YOURSELF.
I mean if you are in love with someone and you see them causing arguments and doing other things you don't approve of and (because of her circumstances [Kagato ..... hardened Spacepirate] she doesn't really no better because her mother wasn't around to teach her how to be a lady) yelling was the only to get that arcoss to them (and I mean THE ONLY WAY) you would do it with out really thinking about it.
Please know that by this I do not condone Tenchis hitting of her but his physicall holding her back .... I do becasue if he didn't she could easily and unintentionally hurt him.
Simply you want the people you love to change for the better right? If Ryoko's yelling and Tenchis talking I'm quite sure Tenchi would NEVER get his point across.

I guess I wasn't so clear quoting Tsuki ..... when Tenchi and Ryoko do get there rare moment together. Theres something magical about them being together. The way he looks into her eyes and the way she looks into his. They know each other...... and have for such a long time. It's not like with Ayeka. Yeah sure Ayeka and Tenchi have the same blood running through their veins but what Ryoko has for Tenchi is so muc greater than that. Ryoko LOVES Tenchi ... not because he is supose to be the Crown Prince of Juria. She loves Tenchi because deep down .... even if he can't see it yet ... he loves her.
Ryoko riskes her very life and even more importantly to her .... her pride for Tenchi. She risks everything for him time and time again. I have no doubt in my mind that that woman .... would go to hell and back for him. If that isn't love then what is?

I don't speculate Ryoko's love for Tenchi. I am sure she would.

Also, I am sure Tenchi would "go to hell and back" for Ryoko, as well as all of the other girls.

I think, the reason why we are sort of disagreeing is because we are not on the same continuity.


In Tenchi Universe, I would say that it is pretty likely that Tenchi will end up with Ryoko. Same with Tenchi in Tokyo. Their relationship was pushed more than Tenchi's relationship with any of the other girls in those two series.
In the OVA, however, things were a little more evened out.
Tenchi and Ryoko do bond very nicely, especially after the fiasco in "I Love Tenchi", but he does so with the others in different episodes.
I think, why there seems to be just a little more Ryoko is because she is the character who had the longest way to go to be ... what is a good word to use? ... domesticated ... ?

Just something interesting I noticed, in the end of GXP, Ryoko is wearing what appears to be that Haori (pictured in the famous Tenko concept art) that bears the "ten" or "heaven" symbol on it.
