I don't think where I live most of the lakes would ever be cold enough to completely freeze over (however my grandmother did say there was a time long long ago that the dike froze over (the Gulf of Mexico!!) and she wasn't prone to tall tales ... but if any bodies of water froze over in South Texas, I'm not too sure I'd trust it... so short answer...No I have not! Nope, I have never been to the ocean or a beach with adequate waves C: Just out around the great lakes.

No, I try to avoid them. I have a family history of relatives being severely allergic to bees, wasps and hornets. So I don't want to find out.
