Lee looked over at the reaper again.

Ripps rolled her eyes and looked at Lee. "What do you want?" she asked as she sipped her tequila.

He sneared "Nothing." He continued to sip his whisky.

Ripps shrugged. "Whatever...I just figured that this was a rather long way to come from the academy just for a drink," she said as she took another drag from her cig and flicked the ashes into the tray.

He pulled off his hood. "What gave it away?"

"Reaper's intuition," she said with a smile. "So what's on your mind?"

"what do you do for a living?"

Ripps had started to blow smoke into the air and she shrugged halfway through it, releasing the rest through her nose. "Assassinations, bounty hunting, tracking, sort of a jack of all trades in that general area."

"Fun. I used to do that... before I went to school."

"Keeps things interesting when ya got nobody and nowhere," she said as she downed her drink and set it on the counter for a refill.

Lee downed his and the bartender refilled their drinks. "I'm just there to learn about the darkness."

Ripps adjusted her glasses, as they sat on the bridge of her nose, and took another drag. "What's to know?" she asked.

"How to control it like Headmaster does. I only know the ways of light, some healing and fire."

Bareq stumbled into the bar, obviously drunk. He had an empty bottle in his hand. "Damnsshhh." he growls and throws the bottle at Ripps for no reason.
