Description: Despite utilizing two seemingly contrasting elements of heat and ice, Haru has learned to utilize these elements simultaneously. His Shakuton utilizes the heat which the Hyoton expels from an area, and his Hyoton utilizes the Shakuton to absorb heat from an area. With this balance, Haru can perform Shakuton and Hyoton jutsu of the same rank at the same time, saving time. This method also gives a discount, halving the cost of one of the jutsu, meaning that when Haru performs a Hyoton and Shakuton which individually would each cost 10 chakra, Haru would only have to pay 15 chakra.

Description: This skill crates a sort of frozen orb in front of Katherine within a couple of feet. This orb will remain orbiting her to her will until she releases it's power. Inside of the orb is a potentially deadly and dense mass of supercooled, ice and chakra. Once it is released, the orb fires a scattering blast of dangerous shards of ice, water and wind in a cone directed in any direction but originating on the surface of the orb. The distance that the skill covers is based on the rank of the skill, starting at 10 feet ahead of the orb and doubling for every rank of chakra put into it at creation. The damage at lower ranks is enough to slice and bombard the opponent with blunt and cutting force at once, but at B rank and above the area under which the attack was launched becomes increasingly more devastating. At A rank, this attack can literally clear the field and leave behind a cold wasteland. To say that being hit by this attack is ill advised is an understatement.

Description:
This skill fires a missile of cold chakra condensed into the form of a small ball from a water source or from thin air. Once released, the orb flies at 3/4ths the speed of the caster towards an opponent like a heat seeker, following them so long as Kat can see them relentlessly until it is stopped or they leave her field of view. Once it hits them, or whenever they leave her sightline and it inevitably crashes, an area of 80 feet is subjected to a blast of freezing cold, detonating and firing shards of ice and frozen wind everywhere. The blast on its own is lethal all its own within 20 feet, and everything within the 80 feet area is frozen in place for a post.

Description: This skill builds upon an existing water technique, creating an environment of heavy snowfall in addition to mist that makes it difficult to see, limiting view to just ahead by three feet. Where it differs from the hidden mist skill is that only Kat can see clearly, regardless of the presence of mist vision which would increase sight range to twenty feet. This skill also blocks all forms of chakra based sight, such as the sharingan or byakugan for its duration as well. Like the hidden mist skill, this one only lasts for 3 posts but for twenty chakra per post it can be extended in duration. Can be blown away by a B rank wind technique.

For your poison transformation;

First poison, canceling chakra regen is practically pointless since chakra doesn't regen passively, and only like...one bloodline has it. As for the -1 I'm fine with it. However I don't like that you can stack the time it lasts, make it like a flat five posts. If you can't finish someone in that time just re-apply it.

Second one the -1 to techniques is fine, remove the stat reduction though. Same with the re-apply rule as above.

I'm fine with the rest.

After looking at this again, and your character; this is going to be denied. Unless you have some reason to be accessing poison, such as being assassin then you wouldn't be able to do this. If you are assassin let me know and I can talk with the other approval mods about it.

If I define the amount of damage it can withstand as an S-Rank defensive technique, would this be fine instead? Like the scales will shed off after being hit by 30 chakra worth of damage, such that it can completely block an S-Rank jutsu as well as reduce an SS-Rank [50 chakra] down to A-Rank [20 chakra]. It also means it can be shed by numerous C-Rank [5 chakra] and three B-Rank [10 chakra] techniques.

This, I feel, is a fair defensive technique which doesn't nullify an attack stronger than it and reduces a stronger attack's damage in an even way, as well as making it so the scales have to be reapplied once broken.

Taijutsu passively blocks certain ranks, which means that while yes on the surface it can be picked away at by it, Taijutsu passive comes first, which means that's just filler lines. The only way I will allow this is if you state that it ignores Taijutsu passive, as in even if you reduce it to A-rank; your passive won't block it for free.

It wouldn't anyway, since the Kage and Shogun right now are only S-Rank, so A-Rank would still hit, albeit reduced injury.

But fair enough, deal. This will nullify the taijutsu passive, so anything that breaks through it will damage the user.
