I did it. I had to learn the weaknesses, give it an initial try, and then go and stock up on E tanks. I seriously used four E tanks and one S tank on the final boss (second form), using its weaknesses against it, dodging to my best ability (still getting hit a lot), and won with ONE BAR OF HEALTH LEFT.
If that's not bullshit... No, you know what? No hypotheticals. That's bullshit.

8 is already leaps and bounds better. Neat looking anime cutscenes aside, the sprites take up less room on the screen and are better detailed and more fluidly animated, and the first power I got, the Mega Ball, is pretty damn awesome.
