I'm hoping I'm not being a pushy a*****e by assuming that fish doesn't check his profile comments very often, but I made a new banner.  Criticism?

Mmmm... maybe put a very light translucent filter between the marios and the background objects.
As it is, the background makes it hard to immediately notice that it's about Mario. If It were subdued a little, it'd help.
You could use a gradient, so that it becomes clear as it approaches the objects that are supposed to be 3D, or something.

Also, I'd scale the first NES mario or use the small sprite. It's weird that he's taller than the marios on either side of him.

It's not bad, it just seems a bit busy, you know? The "3DS" seems kind of slapped on there, and there's just so much going on, it doesn't really look like anything unless you stop and inspect it.

I'd like so see some stuff that's more specifically 3DS on it too. Like Kid Icarus or Street Fighter.
