The difficulty in SP ramped up way too fast for the rate at which my brother and I were leveling up. I know RCR required grinding too, but that game's also two decades old.

The only major problem I had with the game is my friend and I were fighting the super omega Gideon that has the heart and all, and we jumped on the platform, and I jumped up but then he fell. But he didn't die, he could just walk around the screen and do nothing. So I had to fight Gigedion (i think thats his name) all by myself while he flew around like a b***h.
And a really really cheap way to level up is to hold L and R, and then do the Konami Code. Minus the start button. You drop 50 coins or something, and you can keep doing it. Have someone do it until one player has about $1,000 and then go pay off Scott's late fees. Everything is $4.95 after the $503.94 book fine. Then you can level anyone up really fast. That's how I got Knives up to 16 already.
