Jaycorn y'all are just subconsciously disappointed in yourselves for becoming infatuated with games where the main purpose is to shoot stuff and are taking it out on me i just played a game where I hide in the dark and run away from stuff

i just played a game where green things walk up behind you and explode knocking you off of cliffs and killing you instantly causing the game to crash and all your dropped items to be lost forever
i am subconsciously obsessed with that

Clearly not all PC games are FPS games, but... how do I pinpoint it? I just dislike most first-person crap in general for some reason, now (including some Persona games, FYI). They usually share this vibe that I can't really explain, and half the time they give me headaches and are boring and/or confusing to me. I JUST HATE IT.
FPSes in general, though. There's nothing really wrong with one-player ones like HL2 or Bioshock, but they just bore me to death for some reason, maybe because they tend to be really dark and "mature" and normally not all that original. As for the multiplayer ones, I was really into TF2 for quite awhile, but it has just started to seem extremely repetitive and mindless to me anymore, like the only reason to play it after you've gotten to a certain point is for self-gratification and to distract yourself, versus to actually have fun. And you have to admit that most online multiplayer FPS games are pretty much the same deal.
I don't really have many good reasons for my disliking those type of games, I just DO. And Iike everyone else LOVES them so it kinda drives me nuts a little. I can't help it. Don't all hate me now. >=|

I thought it was probably something like that too. At least now I can relate to it in a way.
Seriously though, at least I tried all that junk before developing an opinion of it. Some people here seem to have a tendency to mock other people here for liking certain games that they have never even tried.

A lot of us have played our fair share of JRPGs to develop an opinion on them, just as you've played your fair share of first person games to develop an opinion on them.
