Declaring war on terror is just a stupid concept in general.

I'm playing Adventure Mode in Melee for the first time in so many years, and *sigh*
I feel like I'm having more fun with this than when I play Brawl, for some reason, and I miss a lot of small stuff from Melee. I really can't tell the difference between liking a game more because of nostalgia or because it's actually better sometimes; especially in this case. Still, I think Brawl vs. Melee is still a huge debate, and Melee IS like 7 years older.
If you were to say that SSB64 is the best of the three, you'd definitely just be biased by nostalgia. It's such a small, even relatively cute old game with so little content. Subjectively, I would definitely understand if someone liked it better, though. No one really considers it for serious competition or tournaments. It's just a fun game to play like Mario Party or something. In a way, that makes it more likable. Sometimes I just can't stand all the competition and the tourneyfags and whatnot. It makes me feel stressed out about something fun.
Currently, I can't decide on one favourite SSB title. They all have their strong and weak points.
Also, I don't care what anyone ssays, tripping in Brawl is dumb. I've had my character trip while I was losing (during a team battle, but still). GRRR

YOU KNOW WHAT GRINDS MY GEARS?
In Melee, when you're playing on a huge stage like Hyrule Temple and it's zoomed in on you and your opponent, and when an item lands way on the other side of the stage that you can't see (and you can't hear it either, like you would have been able to in SSB64), your computer opponent knows it's there and starts rushing for it before you have any way of knowing about it, giving it an unfair advantage. mad
UGH nevermind I like Brawl better even though I miss Roy, Dr. Mario and Mewtwo instead of stupid Lucario, the missing stages, some old items, no FLUDD on Mario (I'm not quite sure how to use it properly so it just ends up messing me up when I mean to do his tornado spin), Adventure Mode (for some reason I just don't like SE as much in retrospect because it was often tedious to me), and the simple and not time-consuming method of collecting trophies. Overall, Brawl is better...
BUT ******** THAT SSB64 IS THE BEST WAS SO MUCH FUN OMG EVERYTHING IN IT WAS THE s**t BACK THEN. IT WAS THE COOLEST GAME EVER AND IT STILL IS BECAUSE I SAID SO EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT REALLY AS GOOD ******** YOU ALL

Speaking of subjective opinions, I like Mario 64 better than Galaxy (dunno about Galaxy 2 but I'm assuming it's about the same). Yeah, because of nostalgia, but I have have a weird tendency to prefer the more traditional stuff sometime. Not to mention it's just a lot more charming to me and has great gameplay even if it is older, and plus it doesn't piss me off like Galaxy does... god damn purple coins. Oh and it was my first-ever Nintendo game along with DKR, so major nostalgia.
In Galaxy there's all this crazy running around weird-a** planets and s**t and all this crazy orchestrated music and it doesn't feel as... warm and familiar? And running around upside-down and junk was just weird to me. Cool, but weird. My favourite levels were the beachy ones where you got to go swimming and you got to hang onto shells and stuff. They were colourful and more traditional and they made me happy. I don't know why I have played so little of Sunshine because it seems like it was made for me. I love sunshine and colours and water and palm trees and Piantas... gonna play that now since Melee is a niggard.
Also, am I the only one who hears "The PICKLE" in Luigi's voice instead of "LET'S-A GO!" in Mario's voice when you confirm a star in a painting in SM64? D:

I love how what you do in Sunshine is totally the opposite of what you do in Jet Set Radio. Just goes to show how you can be anyone, in a video game.
Sunshine also makes me really miss Wind Waker all of a sudden. sad

My cat has a specific scent to her. It's never changed, even if we moved houses or whatever, and nothing else in my house smells like her. I like how she smells. Is that weird? I mean, she pretty much smells exactly like Tostitos. Who doesn't like how Tostitos smell?
