Snaking is just a way of abusing the drifting system.
But I don't want to just drift back and forth over straightaways, because that really shouldn't be doable.

Zadoc the 27th All I have to say about super smash brothers melee is 'Wave Dash'. that is it. It sums up my experience with that game. As far as mario games go I rather enjoy the new Mario brothers Wii. the multilayer screen scrolling action gets extremely addictive extremely fast. Wave dashing isn't a huge issue if you just have a few friends to play it with that don't do that. I'm glad it's not in Melee though, because that would rape the online play, which is likely the main reason they took it out, even if it was/wasn't meant to be in Melee anyway. NSMBW is pretty fun, I agree, though I don't own it. The multiplayer is awesome, and I hope they do it again, maybe as a download title for Cafe or 3DS. Jaycorn That's sweet. Is the "you" in this me, though? If so, do you know me? I'd rather have my ovaries removed than ever have kids. D: I enjoyed reading the rest of your novel, though. xd Jaycorn Agreed. I'm just gonna live with it for now. It just seems like all they did is get rid of stuff to make it more compact, and that stuff used to be a lot more convenient to access! I'm just so used to having things a certain way and hate having them changed. Moving the tabs to the top is a pain in the a** and really backwards for accessibility. Jaycorn THAT IS/WOULD BE AWESOME. He lives in California, right?! "CALIFORNIA!" Also good luck with Wily, I know he a douche sometimes. wink He doesn't live there anymore. He will probably be on the east coast, though I'm not sure where. He's getting moved around a lot for things. Jaycorn Plus, so many people are using guides to make the best warrior possible or whatever. It reminds me of EV Training. DUMB. Man... I don't really want to play anymore. Yep. Maplestory and Gaia might as well merge. Oh but Gaia has an MMO! Yeah, no one cares. Nomega You're just mad because you can't do it. talk2hand I can do it, and it's still shitty. I can actually do it better than anybody I've ever played online, and I still think it's a shitty addition. To challenge myself in MKDS I actually just beat the s**t out of the people that snaked and helped people that couldn't/weren't as good win.

Zadoc the 27th Glad to hear you know what Wave dashing is! My friend and I tried like crazy to do it after we saw the Melee tournament players article in an issue of Nintendo Power. I kind of wish we had gone to a tournament or something, because we were both scary good, even without advanced techniques.

MY next door neighbor played in National tournaments and could do Wave dashing perfectly, and even mastered Wave shining. It was really dumb to play against him. He never lost, but we became really damn good trying. I remember making fun games like Juggernaut up where you set one person with a handicap of 3, and everyone else has a handicap of 9. if you kill the juggernaut(handicap 3 character) then you go from 9 to and 8 handicap, and every time you kill him you keep on loosing hanidicap. eventually, you get low enough to actually defeat him 5 times in one match(stock matches of course) then the one who killed him the most becomes juggernaut, We would play that game for hour on end

I love it when people come up with neat game ideas like that, and zombie mode.

Ah you must tell me about Zombie mode!!
I actually wish i could do all the things that go into the making of games like that because me and some friends though a while back about how much fun it would be to change the coding and grafics so that your character had a slightly zombie like appearance, and even to change a few moves to that they are more like Zobie attacks, I dont know, just a child hood dream i suppose.

Zombie mode is more for FPSes. One person is a zombie and only gets to use melee attacks, and everyone else are "humans" and get to use guns. The zombie is on one team, and everyone else is on another. It's hard to do, but it's mostly done in Halo, where the sword is pretty beastly. Anyway, when the zombie kills someone, they also become a zombie, until the entire other team is zombies. The last person killed starts off as the new zombie in the next round.
