Meta_Fish The Eleventh AK Also I'm pretty sure it was Wayne that made the comparison to hat updates but whatever Personally I think it's kind of ridiculous to compare an indie game like Minecraft to something like TF2 with a huge studio behind it. I was just saying that they should update it more. It's been out for what, two years, and it hasn't changed very substantially, even though they're charging fifteen dollars for it, and the people that buy it now won't get future updates. It's won a ton of awards and everyone talks about it everywhere, so it really needs to change. Well-done online play? An actual point to the game? NPCs? Anything! Wolves are a nice little addition, but that's not what we're looking for. Weather is cool too, but when you're just mindlessly wandering around and then mining into the ground to get diamonds to make diamond items, it's really pointless. You get diamond everything and then what? Nothing. That's the point I was trying to make. 15 euros is like 20+ dollars

The Eleventh AK He doesn't have to like it. But I have told him multiple times it's my favorite Sonic game, and yet he kept bringing it up, so it felt like he was trying to get a rise out of me, for the entertainment of the 3 of you. which I guess was a success LOL This is exactly what I've been trying to explain in all of my lengthy posts! You always feel like we're directly attacking you, but we aren't. I don't think Sonic CD is that great! So what! ******** me. Who gives a s**t what I think. Wayne and I were talking about it, and I had some stuff to say about it, since he and I talk about video games all the time, and what we like and dislike about them, and since he'd played it and knows it, I knew he'd have more input than I wanted to put into the CultCast.

He'll bash KI when I'm around too. I don't think he's trying to get a rise out of me. He just hates the game. Sure, it'll annoy me when the whole guild jumps in on the bashing, but I know I shouldn't take it personally, because the game does have its flaws. It's an NES game. He's conceded to that when I bring it up, too, but he still hates it.

The point of the game is to build cool things, and survive. Annnnd to do that you need the right resources. I think it's cool BECAUSE there's no set path. You can basically do whatever you want, as long as you pay attention to your surroundings. And there's cool milestones, like the first time you have a full set of armor and tools you just feel GOOD. And then you get diamond tools and you feel BETTER. And then you get obsidian and make a portal and go in the portal and find out it's god damn horrifying and never use the portal again.

I heard recently that they made diamonds more useful in minecraft.
Mind you: I don't no jack s**t about the game, so the comment, at the time, meant jack s**t to me.

He's just making money and promising more so people will give him more money, then? I know it takes awhile to program and to add things and to test them, but this is an alpha or a beta, I forget, and you can just test them on us, and then send a revised version. How often do the updates even come? The last one added wolves, cheevos and weather. It's just a boring game for me. You can build, but I've owned legos, I've played stage creators. It gets boring fast, for me! People can do neat things with it, but for me, as a consumer, I want more to justify what I paid.

How is he asking for more money? I thought as long as you buy the game now (or at least when I bought it) you get all the updates and the final version. I'm pretty sure that's what he said.
and yeah, okay, I take a lot of things too personally. I should just learn to state my opinion rather than get all upset. It's just gotten to the point where I'm scared to share my opinions with you because I've done it before and had everyone in the call being all like "nooo that's dumb you're dumb"
which I guess is just a way of joking around with me but after a while it makes it hard to want to have discussions with you about that stuff.
