Yeah, I'm the opposite because there's only like one PS3 game that seems really cool to me, so if I'm gonna get it at all, it had better have backwards compatibility. razz
I don't really get it... the Wii plays Gamecube games perfectly and it doesn't seem like that really made it more expensive or anything, so why can't the PS3, you know? Honestly, backward compatibility is like one of my favourite things about the Wii. You get two consoles in one, not to mention the VC; amazing deal. I guess it wouldn't have been quite as big of a deal if my Gamecube hadn't been broken, but still. It's what the latest gaming technology is and should be capable of today, especially if it doesn't require an extra slot or port to play the older game.

Someone sent an email to my alt acount, through my main last year, and I discovered it earlier this year. They'd deleted all traces of the email and the link they posted had been broken since.
I changed my password as soon as I could get on a fresh new computer.
They'd actually sent it to everyone I'd ever used the Gmail to talk to, and noone had the common courtesy of telling me my account had been jacked.
By this point there were quite a few guild members I'd emailed thing to!

I'm pretty sure the backwards compatibility for the wii was easier because they kept a lot of the same components, or atleast similar ones.

If there's only one game that interests you, why get a PS3 at all? Just get a PS2 slim. I don't want to make it seem like I disagree with you, though. PS3s not supporting PS2 games is pretty shitty. There must be a decent reason for its absence, but I dunno.

Ubisoft steam sale.
Just bought assassin's creed PC for 7 bucks. Will be getting the second if it runs well. I'm overqualified for sure, but due to my intel HD graphics I never know about compatibility with quite as much certainty.

In my experience, everyone always says they only want console X for just one or two games, but when they actually own one they end up getting a lot more. Taste will always be a factor too, but I think it's mostly people are just apprehensive of making that fairly large initial purchase.

EVERYTHING in my stepdad's fridge has tasted like broccoli since his girlfriend moved in with him. emo
Not that I don't like broccoli, but personally I'm not a big fan of broccoli-flavoured milk.

Jaycorn Maybe I should just like... wait to play Catherine o_o O_o It's also on the 360. I don't know if that would be any better in terms of games you're interested in, but at least the system would cost less.

They removed rumble from their new home console's controllers. The $600 behemoth. Why. I still don't get that.
