The Eleventh AK I was at EB Games today, and the dude told me they wouldn't be getting eshop point cards for a while, not only there, but stores in general around here. Annnnnnnnnnnd I don't think I'm quite ready for a credit card... emo You can have a credit card and still be responsible. I never use mine, other than when my bank account overdraws because I'm either not being careful or it doesn't update online fast enough, and then it just pulls an overdraft fee from my credit card. Just use it, and pay it right off. No problem. The Eleventh AK Here's a pointer, the best way to make me angry is to tell me what things I can and can't have opinions on. So yea if you're ever looking to piss me off... you know what to do biggrin What happen. Jaycorn Maybe it's a bit like how we cheated to get tons of extra lives in Sonic 2 just so we could practice without having to go back to the beginning every single time we lost? I mean, we managed to beat everything, but it was just a lot less tedious than intended. It's basically the same thing with save states. I still think skill matters, or else you wouldn't be able to do it at all. It definitely wouldn't be right to brag about how quickly you beat it anymore, though. Aren't some GB games hard? I cheated to get to the end because I paused it and hit a button and it reset the game, so I went back with all the lives I had and beat that ********. I guess to me it's kind of like if you played an RPG and you started at level 99. You didn't deal with the tedium, and you beat it, but to me it doesn't really count. I'm sure GB games are hard. Super Mario Land isn't a walk in the park, but in the end, I don't really care as much if someone beats it with a restoration point or not. Not sure why.

You paused it and it reset and then you had a ton of lives? o_O That sounds really odd, like it's broken. I think I used the level select cheat just so I could restart at Death Egg all the time instead of going all the way back each time... and it still took me like 8,00000,00000 tries to finally get the hang of it. xd But I mean... you have to beat two fairly difficult bosses in a row with NO RINGS. It's brutal!
Anyway... from experience, I know that starting an RPG at level 99 and is just sleep-inducing. There's no challenge, no strategy, nothing. I struggled through Super Mario Land even with restore points and my full attention, though. There was definitely all the challenge without the tedium. It's pretty different.

!?
I'm playing Link's Awakening and I just pressed A in this random spot outside Seashell Mansion and the air started talking to me! It just said that thing about how you can bomb walls with that sound hollow when you hit them with your sword. Was that supposed to be there? o_o

Sounds like they put in some hints. I thought someone else tells you that though. Can't remember... Try pushing A in other random spots? XD

Meta_Fish or it doesn't update online fast enough I hate this SO much. Also when things disappear and reappear a week later.

The Zelda HD tech demo looked nice and all, but I find myself not really craving one seeing as Skyward Sword's going to be pretty awesome. It's too bad it's one of the few good games to support Motionplus. That was actually a really good peripheral.

Probably gonna suck it up and get another PS2 instead of trying to find a ghetto PS3.
And then later if Catherine gets good reviews maybe I'll get a PS3. I'm really confused though because it got like 35/40 in Famitsu or something and then Games Rader gave it 5/10. Or so I've read on Wikipedia.

Was that supposed to be there? o_o It does that the first time you hit a wall that can be bombed with your sword. No one else mentions it in-game, and I'm pretty sure it was required at least once to finish an area so it needed an explanation. Also, I came across a really nice map for Link's Awakening a while back. With the game getting a re-release, this might be of interest to some of you guys.

Well you can see for yourself in Xilo's Terraria thread, but basically Xilo said Minecraft updating once a month was somehow not very much, to which I replied it is way more than most games, to which he replied I am not allowed to comment on such matters because I haven't taken programming courses. WE ALL GET ALONG SO WELL

Is there a wall that can be bombed right outside Seashell Mansion? Last time I was there, I could get the message to come back as many times as I wanted just by "talking" to that space. That map is going to be extremely useful to me! biggrin

If nothing happens, it's probably just a glitch.

In that case, I have found my first pointless glitch! mrgreen In case anyone cares, it's about where the red X is, and you have to approach it from its left. So that'll help anyone who like... doesn't understand how to use bombs
