I know it seems strange for me to say, but Wii U seems to be a great set up for DnD type games, or games with a "Dungeon Master" of sorts. I'm on board.

Beat Machinarium. It has some great puzzles and awesome music. And the art rules. But the ending was annoying.

Xilo The Odd beings i was a DM once, i can honestly say, i never even thought about that... Not just for games of those style, either. Imagine a FPS where you run around and the enemies and traps are all set off by a person with a screen? It would be like that one mode in DM, except not shitty.

Oh hey. Leaving NY (state) today. I finally got down to Nintendo World, Friday morning.. It was after Today finished shooting, so the whole Rockefeller Plaza was a ghost town. I did not mind. Got 3 street passes, all from one family from Florida. Picked up 2 shirts. a morph ball "How I roll" and a slate blue Mario outline shirt.
I thought Id end up getting something Zelda related, but I was already paying 42 for shirts(All on a generous relative's dollar. Pretty awesome, my father's God-mother gave us all 50 to spend.) They had a heather green shirt with link in his GBC incarnation, and a dark green shirt with a wrap around illustration of Link on Epona ripped from the official artwork/cover art(Japanese/European)
I was expecting 13-15 dollar shirts. I heard that that was one of the great things about the store. I did not see a single one.

I thought of whipping out the 3DS and taking some, but the lighting wasn't very good for that. My phone doesn't have flash either, so I just didn't. Sorry, bud. There's probably a website out there that has like, pictures of every section. Still gvlad I went. It would have been cooler to be there during an event, or something, or not with someone who was like "WHEN ARE YOU GONNA BE DONE HERE?" less than 10 minutes it. It was a little underwhelming. I was hoping to find a cooler zelda shirt.

It's one place I'd love to visit, and it's always changing, so it's always good to see new photos of it.

Whoop, my cursor jumped while I was editing my post, I guess. My mom was kinda a jerk about it. She wanted to go with me, and then she was like, super annoying about it once we got there. And then she combed through shitty knickknacks and souvenirs for like 20 minutes in some other store(Which was not air conditioned, Jesus Christ) on the way back to out Deeeeee-luxe apartment in the sky.
It's the kind of thing that's cooler when there are other people there enjoying it. Not just some family from Florida screaming to eachother from across the second floor. I got Steet pass hits from all 3 of their loud kids.
Oh, and the group of asian hipsters playing let's dance in the demo section... which was exclusively Let's Dance(And I couldn't have played anyway, because my mom was obviously so mortified to be there, and just wanted to leave.)
I guess she was just afraid to go out into the heavily commercialized city alone, but it would have been nice if she hadn't moaned so much.
