I agree. It has really weird graphics, where some levels look insanely good and some just look ridiculous. I don't know if it's that they were handled by different teams or if some parts of Team Ninja just couldn't do modeling for certain areas very well or what.
Actually maybe it's that they had to do such a variety of locations? Who knows.

Everyone needs to go download Donkey Kong for the 3DS VC. I know it's an old game and it starts off just like Donkey Kong (Arcade) but it gets pretty awesome. I loved it as a kid and I'm only a little ways in, but it's well done and fun, and four dollars. Total recommend.

Also, download Megaman 5! It just hit Wii VC, and it's one of my top three Megaman games. (Don't get 7 if/when it comes out.)

After I cash this paycheck I'm gonna go out and buy a few games.
Or stay in and buy a few games. Definitely buying Pokemon Black though.

The lighting in some areas looks like something you'd see on Early PS2 or late N64 titles, and in others it's just fine.
I hate how you get slowed to a snails pace as you approach a cutscene or whatever, especially when you're in that building in the biosphere and you have to waddle though the whole building like you really have to take a dump or something.
Aside from other little things which I think they would have gotten complaints from any playtester for, There's also just some things in the writing, which really take me out of it. Like how the military of the galactic federation is just called "The galactic federation." "Look familiar, princess? Yeah, this looks like the training grounds of the Galactic Federation." I don't have any problems with the fact that there's talking or even the writing, except with those little bits. It just seems silly.
