I wish Pokemon was on Netflix. I have this sudden desire to rewatch the Orange League episodes. Baaaah. Why haven't they made an Orange League game yet.

Man Dragon Quest 9 is allot harder when you don't have a Priest or Mage type in your party.

A pokemon game where you travel from island to island meeting exotic island pokemon? Yeah, sounds awesome.

GET BACK IN THE BASEMENT GEN III. NO WE WEREN'T TALKING ABOUT YOU. WHO WOULD EVER LOVE A WRETCH LIKE YOU, WITH YOUR STUPID SECRET BASES?

WTF I glitched up S3&K. There's no boss music but I can hear the SFX.

The music is so important. There's no atmosphere whatsoever without it. Makes me feel... emotionless

In theory, I like secret bases. In practice, it was kind of annoying that all but a couple of layouts were either a decent-looking small base (difficult to decorate) or a much bigger base with holes everywhere (looks ugly/blocks you from entering AND is difficult to decorate). I did finally find a base near Fortree that was both big and had no holes, but I really wish these had been more common.

Although my opinion of third gen is less dislike and more preferring first and second gen. There are some things that I really didn't like about Sapphire, but it's a decent game overall.

The holes are fine once you realize there are floor pieces to cover them.

The holes are fine once you realize there are floor pieces to cover them.

Floor pieces that you can only buy after you beat the Elite Four, and then only when Lilycove has one of their random one-day rooftop sales. This makes sense for higher-end decorations, but not for an item that's necessary to use about half of the secret bases. The floor boards also count toward the sixteen-item decoration limit. I had enough trouble staying within the item limit as-is; a couple of mandatory floor boards would have made the situation worse.

They also don't match the rest of the floor, so even with them the base is still ugly.

I thought R/S/E had some of the best towns. Petalburg, Lilycove, Sootopolis, Pacifidlog, Fallarbor, Lavaridge, Oldale, Dewford, Fortree... I can never forget any of these locations. I guess they're kinda simple, looking back, but they all seem to have such a unique charm to them. I can almost imagine actually living in them.

But yeah... the new games should bring back secret bases and just make them better. Or at least let us buy stuff to put in our bedrooms.

The idea of region travelling will never happen outside of gold/silver because game freak is lazy to do touch ups. But have no qualms about remakes. Plus gamefreak originally intended to only do two pokemon gens. But it was more successful then they ever imagined. Or so I've been ******** troll-ish bastards. gonk

i just hope one day they go with a release that would be a console game bundled with a handheld game. and have them connect and each be a way to venture into the world.
