The KyroFreed The idea of region travelling will never happen outside of gold/silver because game freak is lazy to do touch ups. But have no qualms about remakes. Plus gamefreak originally intended to only do two pokemon gens. But it was more successful then they ever imagined. Or so I've been ******** troll-ish bastards. gonk Didn't Platinum let you travel to RSE's region? And they originally only had one generation of Pokemon, and intended an ending to the anime with it. But success leads to continuation! If you don't like it, don't buy it.

Might as well call it, I can't wait until someone get's innovative and makes a 3DS game that uses turning the 3D up and down as a game mechanic.

Too much chance of people hurting their eyes from a game which would DEMAND you to change the focus length... and on something which messes with your perception of depth I imagine that's very tricky... it's not just like moving an object back and forth from your eyes... because it's not as precise as that reality... your eyes re being tricked... and so it's all that more fatiguing.
That said.... I know what you mean, and it would be cool.

Nope, it had a "dark world" or whatever it was called to show off "Giratina" and I think something about "Darkrai" and a slightly different story line. No region travel. I was butt hurt a plenty. Gen 3, I could understand why there was no region travelling. Gen 4 had no excuse whatsoever. After that I just accepted that there won't be anything cool like that again.
Gen 5 was ok, I played a japanese translation to take a peek at the game before deciding if I wanted to buy it. It's a bit more simplistic, first run through held your hand a bit more. The return of weather effects was nice though. Desert storms, snow, rain and the hot sun. Plus seasons which made it slightly more engaging, some trainers would be changed. And pokemon in the area would change too. I'm waiting on Grey Version before I pick up another pokemon game.
If they do a remake of R/S I'll give it a chance.

D/P/Pt was pretty much crap. I don't remember there being anything memorable or interesting aside from the fact that it was a DS game and not a GBA game. aside from the canalave city music

If only I'd skipped RSE, too. Kind of glad I skipped Black and White, though some of the Pokemon do seem pretty neat. Hurm. No news on Gray, yet still.

If they do a remake of R/S I'll give it a chance. My mistake. I never owned those, but I remember someone saying something was special about Platinum. I remember getting Ruby and Sapphire and being pissed that you couldn't travel to Kanto or Johto, and that they'd redone the Pokedex. They really don't make a ton of progress with each installment. Admittedly though, each installment does get some neat Pokemon. For every Pidgey reincarnation, there's about half a neat Pokemon, like the fighting and grass type in RSE, or the sun and moon made of rock, or Castform. It often just seems like they're adding to be adding, though, as each installment DOES have its own Pidgey, and now there's how many Pikachu lookalikes? Too many.

Well, they wanted generation 5 to feel like generation 1 in a sense. I thought the seasons, was a great idea. It was a decent answer to sorting out which pokemon are found where. Yeah, after gen 2. I was always hopeful there would be region travelling to the previous games region.
Plusie, Minun, That squirl and flying squirl. A shame none of them are good in the meta of things compared to Pikachu. I hope they make an electric Guinea Pig next gen. Make it a Electric/Fighting type xd
