Mushishi started off pretty slow: does it actually have an overarching plot?

Allegro Mushishi started off pretty slow: does it actually have an overarching plot? Not really. Some episodes make reference to earlier episodes, but they're all stand alone.

I wasn't even bothered by the lack of closure to the story, because every episode sorta does have closure.
As for Ginko, well, he'll probably keep doing what he's doing until the day he dies.

Mushi-shi would probably make my top ten if I ever finish the series. I love the ~10 episodes I've watched, but I keep forgetting about it whenever I'm trying to figure out what the watch next. Maybe I'll start over from the beginning once I finish Princess Tutu.

The whole everything being in missions makes Star Fox a lot more suited for playing on the go than something like Zelda though, I gotta admit. It's a lot easier to jump into a mission than it is to remember where the ******** you are in [insert huge temple here].
