So my computer for a while has had an issue opening folders with video files in them. Any folder I open that has a video file in it will bring up a Windows Explorer error and say that Windows Explorer has crashed. I can access the files through other programs (such as browsing my files to send to someone via email or something) and view the videos that way, but other than that, I don't see a solution. Yahoo Answers said to try registry cleaners,but they all just want money and are stupid, and none worked with the issue. The other alternative is to wipe my computer clean.

Anyone know of any other way to fix this? Vista, 64-bit. oh yeah vista that's your problem. You are a f*****t.

to be honest i think someone at M$ sent out a shitty update or some bull crap, all my friends with a vista or 7 system, have all ahd something going wrong with windows explorer. more specifically explorer.exe.

nowadays vista and 7 have little difference between them, history is really the only difference.

Anyone that claims they've never had an issue with their computer (PC or Mac) is lying or has only owned their computer for a week.

Oh, I've already fixed a lot of problems, like the fact that java will automatically instal the 32bit version, unless you go out looking for 64bit.

Such is an issue only an OEM user has.
