I should use the sculpture clay next time. When this brick clay fires up, it'll be a cool color, but the texture will be terrible for an instrument. Then again, the texture will probably suck just because it's stoneware I use, and earthenware is the traditional material for this kind of native-craft s**t. They're very different.
