I technically go to a University too . . . but all colleges are the same, no matter how many years it takes, we still call them colleges, 4 years or not. How we differentiate them down here is with the other word they come with. Such as: city for city college, jc for jr. college, vc for vocational/trade school. College in general means anywhere you can get a degree at.
California State University, Long Beach. REPRESENT!
