I might be going to Ohayocon '14.
I didn't get to go last year. emotion_8c
But I've went the three years before that.
(Coincidentally, I've just posted a picture in the photo album of me in my cat ears from my first con.)
I cosplayed the last two times I went; the first time as Kaylee from Firefly/Serenity (my beau was Jayne, complete with silly hat), and the second as Jenny from The Darkness (my beau was the main character, Jackie; I even made the little evil darkness tentacle monsters for him to wear).
I bought a wig so I could do Kanade Tachibana (a.k.a. Angel) from Angel Beats last year, but I couldn't afford to go, let alone make the rest of my and my beau's costumes. (The beau was gonna go as Otonashi)
We're thinking about Pandora Hearts characters if we go this year. >3> (But I can't decide who I wanna be... The beau has to be Gil or maybe Vincent since he's so tall, but I have a lot of choices since there are lots of short characters in that manga)

I reallyreallyreally wanted to go to a con a couple states over last year because LM.C, my favorite Japanese band EVER, had their only US stop on their international tour there...
It's really too bad, you can't come to Ohayocon, it's absolutely awesome, we have AMAZING guests (Like the guy who does the voice of Gir~), and it's closer than Texas. cat_xd
Ohio is nicer than Texas, too. >.>
Atlanta is also overrated; I HATE Atlanta. Most of the people are assholes, especially the people on the highway, UGH.

Ohayocon is actually a rather small con as far as cons go, and it's about too big for me.
I'd die at DragonCon.
Besides, too far away to drive to easily, so I'd never be able to get there.
