You could choose not to have it enabled? People aren't going to be *that* anxious to give up their privacy (I think). I was just thinking it would be hella useful when you get lost and are trying to meet up with someone.

I agree that no one's going to want to give up their privacy, but if Google and Facebook are any indicator, the loss won't be consented to anyway.
Would you really stop using Google or Facebook at this point if you found out they were making your name, location and interests public? Aren't they doing that already? Haven't they always?

I'd actually never given Facebook any of my info until they added that feature where friends can add it FOR you. It's really underhanded.
Well you're in the majority, lol! Which just proves my other point more.

I never said I'd stop using FB anyway. My point was that the loss of privacy was never consented to, which is even more obvious after your posts.

I can't watch it because youtube won't let me watch mature videos unless I link my account to a gmail so they can spy on me better.

For some reason I can watch it if it's embedded in Facebook though.

I never said I thought you would, and I wasn't proving a point against you. I mean that you're just not in the majority because you don't want to put your information into a social networking site and you're therefore seen as strange and outside of the loop, which I was using to allude to how things could get worse in the future; you could be out of the loop for not having a digital implant with all sorts of information about you, what you're doing, where you are being sent to who even knows where.

I have a budding migraine.

I don't think it's going to come full swing.

I used to have a plush Charmander and my best friend in grade 3 had one too except it was different, and it was like the best thing ever. We were all BFFs together.

Forever... cry

I'll just say "check out these digital implants" and flash them so they can take photos of it and talk about it on facebook.

I had one as well, but it was from a carnival and always looked retarded. I remember they had those toys where if you touched both metal parts on their feet they'd say something. There was a charmander one, and I was collecting them all when I could as a kid, but the charmander one was always gone. I found it after months of not being able to find it and my mom wouldn't get it for me. Thirteen bucks. And now they're worth more on eBay and I never did get it GOD DAMMIT

But if I did have it, I probably wouldn't give a s**t now anyway.
