This is like when I feel dirty for having a deviantArt account, because it even sounds like a freaky porn site... and it pretty much is!
Gaia online. Where men come to be little girls.
I will never get it.

Jaycorn http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7P4NGFwk4Y THIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT DOES NOT SUCK ABOUT SPIRAL KNIGHTS Combat is somewhat reminiscent of Four Swords. Playing with friends or a good party is pretty fun.

Yep, I'm pretty bored of it.
Also, I'd ask David who he was talking about, but I don't think the knowledge would really change anything here. So I guess it's not important. Interesting enough of a situation to be worth pointing out, though, atleast I think.

The Eleventh AK I've been wanting to try that with a few people for a while now. Fish Wayne and Trenn were like NO DAT LOOK DUMB. It is pretty dumb. The whole game is pretty much a come on to get dumb people hooked into it, and then make progressing attainable, but a waste of valuable time. People could therefor think that it'd be worth the money to just pay to get better stuff-- but it's the old Maple story dilemma. That money could buy you a better game. Overall it's got a few days worth of free entertainment in it, but unless they've changed a lot, the servers suck, and it's basically a money trap. I'm sure you have something to say about my thrifty attitude towards money, now, and I relish to hear it.

I should be more specicifc though...
The game uses two types of currency, you get a small amount of the kind called energy every day, but not enough to reach the later levels of dungeons, or craft the best armor. If you grind you can pay the people who buy this energy with the game's second form or currency, which is basically coins. With exchange rates how I left them, each piece of end game ready armor(You need good armor to even be allowed to pass certain barriers) would take about a weeks worth of your free energy. But you have to spend that energy playing, because you can't save your daily allowance. Once your free meter is full, you stop getting any more. So you have to basically grind, getting the second type of currency, every day, if you want to be able to play later levels.
I could go on explaining this.. but the summary is, it's a game about spending your time to get fake money to dress up your avatar so you can get enough coolness points to do... nothing. There is no end game. Just the prospect of not getting your a** handed to you as royally be one of like 4 boss characters.
Or you could pay real dollars and realize you just spent money on a mediocre game.

I'd much rather play MapleStory than Spiral Knights.

I would rather spend an hour in the tutorial building in the main city, player killing idle people with the fire jars placed for practicing.

[Kegan] www.youtube.com/watch?v=9E2qwZdqxX8 Have you played "Taiko Drum Master", Fish? Seems up your alley. Once. Konga was based on it, but I never had a console with a Taiko game for it that came stateside. I almost imported the DS one, though.
